Hmmmmm, thats odd...


Also had to drop by Phoenix today, cause cheap chinese stuff is cheap.

Pulled this trailer for the last two weeks, and then

 

I would normally replace the socket myself and get a po to save time, but the idiots rivited it in. Fortunatly Phoenix bolted the new one in.

 

I had a socket rip off like that at Kohl's in Casper, WY.
The green line ended up getting stuck between the left drive tires, and I didn't notice until the red line was also pulled out and locked the trailer brakes.
By then the lines were wrapped around the wheels a couple times.

Luckily no other trucks were there because I was blocking access to the docks until a repair truck could get there.

 

I had to put my truck in the shop this morning.
A bad DEF sensor kept indicating that my tank was empty. Yesterday I had a brief period of red engine light and warnings to turn off the truck, severe derate condition.
That lasted through a few engine restarts, and the final restart had a good reading on the DEF level.

So, I was able to make my IKEA delivery this morning before calling on-road.
They sent me to a dealer in Minneapolis, where it sits waiting for the part.

My sister picked me up when she got off work so I am at home instead of in a motel.
Lucked out again.

Paccar just approved the Financing earlier today. Sign my life away sometime tomorrow. Shes up in boise, looked her over while I was on the way with some frame rails. Course now im back in Texas sooooooo. Yeah.

 

Gonna have to extend or move the 5th wheel slide rearward. Ramps and rack and all Ill do when we go meet with Diamond.

That is a nice counter top in the bunk.
Have fun making the bed.
