Is it going to one of the ports or a freight forwarder?

 

Mine won't activate UNLESS tractor break is pulled. I've found rocking the truck works. I have been getting this a lot recently. Only had to manually pull release once so far. Sometimes it takes a couple attempts, but generally will do the trick.

 

That seems odd, as the truck needs to move once the fifth wheel is released.
And how do you rock the truck if the tractor brakes are set?

 

Strange pplans today. They never seemed to line up with anything logical.

There was one picking up in Hammond, IN going somewhere in IL with a 2300 live unload tonight.
The ETA in the pplan said I would get there at 1530.
When I called my DM about it she found out that the receiver does not even open until 2100.
That won't fit in my 14, or any other way for me.
She contacted the planner, and the planner begged that I at least pick up the load. I could t-call it in Gary.
It seems that load has been put off 4 times because of the weather.
I took it with the t-call.
70 miles empty and 7 loaded... great load. And that was a live load. Not much money for the time in that one.
Except for a 45 minute traffic delay in the Gary area on I-80, it went smoothly.
Always willing to help out... almost, sometimes...

Idk,,, I hit the switch, push in the tractor valve and go.

Maybe they mean like rocking it then setting the brakes again?

A few over the years, but its only now I realize while i have a twic card, it no longer has my Name on it lol.
