Tcalled that load at pheonix terminal.
went to dispatch building and asked for an empty which they gave me.
got to the exit gate and lady said to.put a lock on trailer. said it's empty.
she wanted to know why I didn't have the loaded trailer.
I said I am on my way to get it lol.
she said it was in the yard.
told her that my dispatch said I was picking it up at the shipper.
she said it was Tcalled at the yerminal.
so o backed up and went to the dispatch building again after making 2 laps looking for it

lold that lady what the other one had said and she said it was.
I told her I did 2 laps and couldn't find it.
asked her to ping the trailer and it shows it at the shipper which is across the street.
so I did one more lap with no success and went to the shipper.
they gave me paperwork that was for knight and wasn't even close to where It delivered too.told him it was swift and gave him the trailer number.
finally got that settled and went to terminal to scale the load.
of course,, tire guty decided to change 2 tires. don't know what was wrong. maybe too Many chunks in tires.
so stopped here at the t/a for the nite.
and Toby Keith is having an outdoor concert being me.
maybe he will sing a lulaby for me so I can sleep lol

been in so cal most of my life. so not gonna move.

 

My month is over. I'm at home for a few days.

It will be a very short time until my next home time, which will be set for June 4th because my youngest daughter graduates high school on the 5th.
I don't want to miss that.

left beaver ut aroumd 0400 and Tcalled load at jurupa terminal.
dl had me do a live unload in east l.a.
tight place. was some kind of scrap metal place.
came in the wrong way. so had to go another 2 miles b4 I could get turned around. parked by a gate and it's the exit.
so drove around the corner only to drive another mile to turn around so I could turn into the small gate.
only for them to say my 53 foot trailer won't fit their scale.
he said there was a public scale a mile away. which I had passed turning aroumd . Grrr.
finally got i.to the dock and he was pretty quick unloading trailer.
went back to get an empty wait. he said don't need to come back since he will go there and pick it up and pay for the scale.
heavy traffic all the way to terminal.
told dl I would have to pc back since would be short of hours.
got back around 1730.

 

After that day you're probably glad to be home.

 

YEP. that replacement driver was a bad omen lol.
regular guy back today.
but still have to deliver that load near where I went yesterday on Saturday

 

Manteno, IL at the terminal.

I lucked out and got a 0630 appointment for a b-service tomorrow morning.
I have been so used to places being booked up for the next week or two, it was nice to actually hit it just right this time.
And it will actually be on time this time, not a thousand miles overdue.

 

now let's hope.they.domt find amything wrong.
