Well it sounds like you're happy, which is what counts.

    jurupa valley ca at home.
watching martinsville race and 1.5 hr into it couldn't remember if I put.logs in offduty status.
after dropping trailer in jurupa terminal i put it in yardmove to park truck.
got in a hurry to get home b4 race started.
so got the record button and drove to terminal to check.
    still on yardmove uggghh.
so changed it to off duty and came back home.
with the Qualcomm the yardmove would change to onduty once you turned truck off.
not so with the new tablet and you can't edit to off duty, only drive.
didn't hurt me getting the 34 reset done but glad I thought of it.

    Moosetek13 and Rugerfan Thank this.

Thanks for mentioning that you can not edit a yard move to anything but drive.
    I didn't know that.

Near Findlay, OH at the Love's tonight.
Actually, today and tonight into tomorrow mid-day.

I delivered a load in E. Liberty, OH this morning and only had 3 hours left on my 70.
I was sent a pplan picking up at the Columbus terminal going to the Dayton area, but I was too short on time to deliver it today.
Those planners sure like to push times to the limit.

This current load picks tomorrow at 1400 and delivers in IL anytime the next day.
That leaves me sitting a little too long, but at least I was able to get a shower.

    Roscoe, IL at the Love's.

It's almost getting cold enough to idle my truck. Another degree or so is all I need.
It reads 34, but it still shut off.
    Accuweather says it's 29 here.

I've got around 3,000 miles until my next b-service and I don't want to put the truck in the shop for the bunk heater before that.
Too much wasted time, especially if they still can not figure out the problem.

Menasha couldn't do anything with it, and at Edwardsville the heater ran for 30 minutes so they called it good.
Sometimes it will stay on for 30-60 minutes, then shut off. Most often it will stay on for 5-10 minutes and then shut off.
There is no cycling with it, it just shuts off until the next time I try.

It is making for some cold nights with too much waking up because of it.

FYI - Once your bunk heater gets lit turn the heat all the way up, let it run like that for a couple hours if you can stand it. It will run way better afterwards. Do this every few weeks if you use it frequently.

If it doesn't want to light, keep trying, it should eventually get lit, then temperature all the way up. You'll eventually burn off all the crud making it not stay lit.

    Hasn't worked so far.
I don't think it is crud build up, but a bad sensor or switch or something.
It does not regulate in an on-off cycle, it simply shuts down after a few or many minutes. The timing of it is random.

I'm nearly due for a b service, so I will see what they can do with it at that time.

I'm in Monomonie, WI tonight at the Love's.
    Glad to get a shower.

My sister, along with a daughter and her mom, got over to IGH to try jump starting my car.
No luck. There is no power to anything even with the jumper cables attached.
Well, the horn gave a slight honk when the cables were hooked up.

I'm thinking (hoping) that it may be the main fusible link, the 120A one for the main power.
A $5 part that is easily replaced.
Unlike battery replacement with that model, Chrysler seems to have made the fusible links an easy task.
Guess I'll find out when I get back home in a couple weeks.

    dptrucker Thanks this.
