saturday woke up around 6am with no load yet so went home for a shower, pay rent, and do some house chores.
the drove back to terminal to speak to a planner.
she said was dead.
so sat there and watch the bonus video
on cruise control.
she called me and said that a driver was at a shipper getting unloaded in lebec ca and then as picking up a load in Shafter ca and tcalling it here.
she said driver mite be here around 1300 which would get me to beaver late that nite.
thought about it for a bit and called here back and said I take.
she said she would keep looking to see if a load popped up earlier.
called the other driver to let him know I had a load now.
he was on his way home. said someone called d.enver and said that there was no loads going out here and drivers were sent home.
he didn't even call me too confirm assuming that I already knew.
so he turned around to get his truck and go get his load.
made it to beaver UT around 9pam and he arrived at 1100 pm.
have a 0800 live unload Tuesday In San Bernardino

oh BTW... the planner called the other jurupa driver to offer him that 1st load and he refused. he been driving oy a few months and didnt feelike driving that late i guess.
this driver is filling in for the normal one due to him rolling his truck north of baker ca over a week ago. not going to mention any names
so him and the Denver driver went home. -
And I'm still sitting in Fargo waiting for a load.
Guess I'll get an unwanted/unneeded 34 this weekend.

After a couple hours this morning with half a dozen pplans that were either removed or were refer loads, and a couple calls to my DM, she got me a paper load to Combined Locks, WI out of the Costco.
Then tomorrow we can take the pictures of my million mile truck for the portal. I'll be glad to get that over and done with.

I had a load picking up at P&G in Neelys Landing, MO today. When I got there it wasn't ready, but I was an hour early.
3.5 hours later it still wasn't ready, then I was told it was put on hold so my load was voided.
My next load is out of Hannibal, MO going to IL, then a Sam's load to Eagan, MN to get me home on Saturday.
My home time was set for Friday, but the way things turned out I will likely get home a day sooner than if that P&G load had worked out.
And it is a few more miles for the week.
So I guess I had a pretty good day. -

sat at jurupa terminal till 0930 b4 getting a load finally. had to go to Colton ca to pick it up.
other jurupa driver didn't get one. so I assume he went home.

got pulled in. 3900 lbs overweight on drives.
other drivers cat scale he got at /a in wheat ridge was 11400 steers... 31700 drives.....and 33600 tandems.
scalehouse says 12160 steers.... 37900 drives...and 27520 tandems.
other drivers truck is a 19 international and mine is 20 cascadia.Cascadia..
his 5th wheel is 2 holes back than mine.
