    TA Elgin in IL.
1 live load today and 2 live unloads, so a lot of sitting. Luckily none of them took too long.

My next load is a t-call picking up at the Gary terminal and t-calling at Inver Grove Heights for my home time.
It will be nice to get home.

I've got a couple things to do.
I found a replacement radio and amplifier for my car, so I'll be putting those back in.

And I bought a 3-d wood puzzle of a locomotive from a Love's that I am going to start building as a Christmas present for my nephew.
Over 400 pieces with a skill level of 5, and I've 0 experience. I figure a few home times will be needed.

    dptrucker Thanks this.

I have music in the car, and a start to the train puzzle.

In the tutorial video I am 40 minutes in, out of ~6 hours. It took me a lot longer than 40 minutes.
The instruction manual, as well as the video, has no text or speech - pictures only. I would be lost without the video of someone doing the work.
It's a fun project. I only hope I don't break one of the pieces.

    dptrucker and dwells40 Thank this.

I really hate people wasting my time.
A 5 1/2 hour unload at Walgreen's. and they left trash in the trailer.

    I'll remember that place.

I got to my delivery today in Hazlewood, MO at Mopar to find the one spot open I could drop it.
They like to really cram the trailers in there and I was having trouble getting it in.
After about 10 minutes, with the yard jockey waiting for me, he said to just drop it there and he would park it.
Thank you so much! There was so little space I doubt I could have gotten between the trailers to lower the landing gear.

No mt's, and my next load is a live load.
I was sent another pplan for after that one, but the times were based on a hurry up no delay of any sort, so I turned it down.
Gotta love planners that think everything will go, exactly to the minute, as they think it can be planned. (But, the computer says...)

dwells40, Rugerfan and dptrucker Thank this.

I shuttled trailer for Amazon for 6 months using a day cab. For tight spots I would lower the landing gear to about 1" from touching the ground then back in and drop the trailer. No need to lower the landing gear any further even if you don't have a dump valve.

    dptrucker and Moosetek13 Thank this.

Next week is the Million Mile Event in Green Bay.
I had wanted to wear my Million Mile Ring, but it is about 1/2 size too small.

My sister has been checking around trying to get it resized.
She went in to Jared the other day.
They were very impressed with the quality and workmanship of that ring.
The diamond is real, as are the blue sapphire stones. They said it was one of the nicest examples of that type ring they have seen.
Nice to know Swift didn't skimp at all on it.

But they won't attempt to resize it. They are too worried about damaging it because the metal is so soft.

She will check with one more place that Jared recommended. If that doesn't pan out I will just wrap the band with some string so I can wear it on my pinky.

    Manchester, MO at the Costco.

I got here at 1200 but they could not take me early for my 1500 appointment.
When that shift came in they took their sweet time and didn't finish unloading me until 1900, so I'm camped out behind the store tonight.
Long day, very short on miles.

It turns out that resizing one of those rings without irreparable damage is nigh impossible because of the manufacturing process.

    dptrucker Thanks this.
