Good Night From II

Got my a/c repaired here in Laredo, snagged an 18k load to Romeoville, IL.

 

Here in Wytheville, VA. I have all of 5.5 hours for the next 2 days. Just enjough to get to the shipper in the morning and then to Beckley. Could possibly make Charleston, but that is taking a big chance. Darn, hours short of getting this load t-called tomorrow and then home. Oh well.

 

worked hard those 19 minutes lol. sat most of that day at the lewiston yard when i got that load.. so logged in and hooked to it,then did the pretrip and loaded call. was really a wasted day

 

salt lake city terminal. was at flying j in casper wy the other day when i got this load that p/u in worland and tcalled here. drove to a rest area on the 20 that nite. rain,hail,and wind were getting strong and i was mt, so thought i play it smart and get it this morning. weird weather. nice in the mornings and thunderstorms in the afternoon. early monsoon i guess. anyways, taking a 34 since low hours next 2 days

 

How's the weather now running through Denver and the Rockies? Right now we are heading north on I-75 from Atlanta, headed to a drop up in Indiana then grabbing a load to Las Vegas. That would put us driving over the Rockies tomorrow night.

 

been like monsoon weather. nice in the morning and thunderstorms in the afternoon. some cells are really strong with winds,rain, and hail. suppose to be like this for the week. was in denver area the other day, and news reported that 5 tornandoes touched down in denver are. be safe

 

I just checked the weather map and it looks like the worst of it is just west of Kansas City right now, but the whole Rockies to Midwest area looks unsettled.

 

Tcalling in Columbus tomorrow. Then picking up a broker load, that unloads in PA Sunday ...

 

another long night, shut down with 1 min remaining of the clock. Looks like I will begin my vegas runs here in 2 weeks or so and I talked with the manager to get more info and he said it will be nice miles plus stop pay. If there is a sweep then we will co sweep with 3 other stores so will gain stop pay on all of those, if a backhaul we will grab a load out of Lake Havasu plus we will be bringing back loads for Rialto as well which will count for more stop pay and then shoot over to Long Beach for a Yussen to get back to the DC. We only got 4 stores since JB Hunt wiggled their way in and secured half the stores with loball dealings.

It looks like he needs to hire 3 more drivers at least as well so if anyone lives near the area it wouldnt hurt to try and contact someone.

 

By "lives near the area" do you mean near Lathrop? Does SoCal out of Jurupa Valley work?
