other driver didn't have a load either.
no pheonix or Lathrop loads came up.
so after getting truck washed I am off till thurs.

 

I had better luck ... showed at 20:30 for my 21:45 appointment. Was out the gate at 21:30.

 

But was that at a Dollar General?
I have never had that kind of service from a DG.

 

No ... Kraft/Heinz. The last Dollar General I did was a pickup .... took the gate 20 minutes to figure out how to deal with it.

 

I got to my delivery this afternoon at around 1530 and was told I was scheduled for a 0730 live unload.
?. This load had a pickup time of 1615 yesterday and was nearly 500 miles away.
My load assignment said anytime today until 2300, but they said everything is scheduled at a time.
Someone got some wires crossed in the scheduling, I think.
But, not a problem. They got me in right away.

My next load is Lowe's going to MN.
I'll be getting home a day early for this home time.
And after nearly 7 weeks, it will be nice to get home.

It got delayed because of the million mile event in Green Bay, and my truck breaking down at the same time.
I lost a bit of time and money with those, so stayed out a bit longer.

The battery in my car is dead, again.
It needed a jump every time I started it on my last home time, so I'm sure it is really dead now after sitting for that long.
I really love that NOCO.

 

So I ended up having to buy a new battery.
Pep Boys would not replace it under warranty because I don't drive the car enough.
I've put 1,300 miles on the car in the last 9 months.

 

disconnect battery while its parked at terminal.

 

I could try that, but it should not be drawing any current. My car is too old to have always-on electronics.

I asked my daughter to drive it for an hour or so every week or two while I am gone.
That might do the trick also.

gonna sit here till noon to see if I can get a Lathrop or pheonix run
update... no loads so came home. off tomorrow too

 

riverside ca waiting for dentist appt.
gotback from beaver ut yesterday around 10am and put truck in shop for a 6am appt today. b service and trans oil change .
looked at app and showed truck was done.
shop manager said it got done yesterday.
surprise due to how understaffed they are on sundays
