Jurupa Valley at home
one good thing about being home is watching the Martinsville Race
good Infinity race -
I never really followed NASCAR that much until Jimmie Johnson hit the scene.
It was an interview with Hendrick and Gordon, and they were both saying to watch this guy because he is really great.
JJ became the driver I watched from then on, and he lived up to all expectations.
Actually, JJ and Chad K. The unbeatable team for so many years.
After the JJ years, it just is not the same for me.dptrucker Thanks this. -
my favorite driver was Earnhardt Sr.
since he passed I have no favs.
just like to watch a good race.
next weekend at pheonix will be the last of the year and determine the championshipMoosetek13 Thanks this. -
I'm at the Gary terminal.
I got the B service done, and hopefully my PasSmart is back on.
Hopefully they turned off the Lane Departure Warning and adjusted the headlights like I asked.
But, I still have no bunk heater. They do not keep them in stock and said it was a Phoenix thing.
The Opti-Idle does better with cooling than it does with keeping things warm.
In the past few days the truck has been idling at a higher temp than it did before.
48 degrees or so, and below, and it idled. Before a few days ago it would have to read at 29 degrees.
The temp sensor registers about 8 degrees higher at that temp, so the actual temp had to get down to around 21 before it would idle.
Time will tell how things are working now. And this truck seems to change settings for no reason at all.
A new gremlin, it seems.
Got the truck back this afternoon and I'm waiting until morning to start again so I can get a 34 to get full hours back. -
I don't know about the headlight adjustment yet, but the PasSmart and LDW have not changed.
Great job, Gary shop.
I'm in Springfield, IL headed to my least favorite Lowe's in Joplin, MO.
They make it SO hard.dptrucker Thanks this. -
Jurupa Valley at home
no load to Beaver Utah
nothing for today so I will be doing two local runs tomorrow
hopefully can be able to do a Beaver Run Thursdaydwells40 and Moosetek13 Thank this. -
Knowing what to expect I made it a bit easier on myself.
I headed straight into the customer parking lot and dropped my loaded trailer before going to the gate to check in.
Just that took most of the stress away from delivering there, since I only had 1 trailer to back out of the dock area and it is easier to line it up from inside.
Some of these places need actual instructions on what to do once you get there, not just basic directions.dptrucker Thanks this. -
beaver ut.

other driver did a Denver to slc trip and got as far as Laramie WY last nite due to alot of snow
