my dl and onroad wanted me to download the comdata /onroad app and I said not downloading no more apps. too many passwords to remember alreadydwells40 Thanks this. -
I had to install the Driven app to do a Comcheck a while back, just about when my phone started having problems.
The phone would simply turn off when an incoming call came in.
I'm still not sure it was the Driven app that was the problem, but after getting rid of it and the Google phone app things went back to normal.
And I'm really tired of these lumpers that want us to use an app or the internet to pay them, instead of just using a paper Comcheck.
I usually tell them that my phone is just a phone. No internet or apps on it. -
Moosetek13 Thanks this.

Most of them are Capstone, and some of those bill Swift directly.
Since it is all the same company, all of them should bill Swift directly so the driver doesn't need to be involved.dptrucker Thanks this. -
Edwardsville terminal.
I T-called a load here and am picking up a T-called load as well.
Heading to Fargo and then to Bismark, ND with Hobby Lobby as the targets.
They don't deliver until the 2nd, so a bit of time on it.
That time of year again with weather/holiday delays and lower freight volume.
My next home time is set for the 5th, and it looks like just a slight chance of some snow between here and there in that time.
Nothing big, from the looks of it. Hopefully it stays that way.dptrucker Thanks this. -
wishing everyone a safe and happy new year.
picking up a load in rancho Cucamonga ca and delivering in Porterville ca.
no load back so I guess I am deadheading backMoosetek13 Thanks this. -
Fargo, ND
I deliver to Hobby Lobby tomorrow morning and then head to Bismark for my final stop.
Then, who knows?
Everything south and east of here will be getting hit by a big storm through Tuesday, so I may be stuck in ND for a couple days.
My home time is set for Thursday, and it looks like I may not make it by then.
No real big deal if I can make it home by the weekend some time. Leann (middle daughter) is flying to Italy next Wednesday for a couple months to get married, so I just need to get home in time to see her before she leaves. -
Alexandria, MN at the Pilot.
I was stuck here all day yesterday because of the storm.
I was hoping to get out this morning but it looks like I'm still not going anywhere.
Several trucks and cars jackknifed and spun out all along I-94.
Near St. Cloud there was a traffic backup due to a semi jackknifed.
I went inside to use the bathroom and when I came out there was another truck in the ditch. A Swift truck.
It is at I-94 MP 174, and Swift is in the frame.
I called my DM to let him know I would be sitting for a while longer.
He saw the camera and was very glad I checked before heading out.dptrucker, dwells40 and JOHNQPUBLIC Thank this.
