But sometimes it not just Swift trucks that all show up at the same time, so it is probably the customer most often.

Some of those loads have FCFS somewhere in the load assignment, but we are given a set time to be there.
And sometimes I have gotten to a place at 0600 for a pickup or delivery that does not even open until 0700.

    dptrucker Thanks this.

Lake Station, IN, just in time for some snow.
There is plenty of time on this load up to MN. It doesn't deliver until Thursday.
Even if I am shut down all day tomorrow I can still make it on time if I can leave early on Thursday.

I was about 10 minutes late to my pickup this morning, but they were not ready for me.
On the computer it said 0700 to have the load ready, but at the dock they were seeing 1900.
It confused things a bit and they ended up sending me out with a short load. All of 5,000 pounds.

    jurupa valley terminal.
outbound is closed for loads under 30000 lbs due to high winds.
went to Buena Park for a live load and tcalled it here.
winds were bad this morning but got worse on the way back.
glad I had 41000lbs in the box..
I heard of 10 trucks blown over.

    dwells40 and Moosetek13 Thank this.

    Fargo, ND at the Petro.
I delivered my Costco load at around 1400 today, Saturday.
My next load picks up in northern MN on Monday at 1300.
I guess loads a scarce here right now, since I usually get another load out of the Owatonna Costco DC from here.

But is is a nice load going to OH, so it has some miles.

    dptrucker Thanks this.

waiting for a dock to open so I can get uploaded.
started at 5 am and started truck to warm up.
ran for about 10 minutes before losing track of time and truck idle shut off.
now it won't start back up.
    just clicking noises.
so walked to shop and he came over to jump start it. nope.
so he went back to get some stuff and icwent and got this loaner for the day.
well... depends if they get my truck fixed lol

Did anyone try using the battery cut-off switch for 5 minutes and trying again?
That trick seems to solve many a weird problem.

    dptrucker Thanks this.

It is a new starter and now it needs replacing again?
Did they not replace the solenoid when they did that last starter? It seems like an obvious choice to replace both at once.
