I picked up a load in Crete, NE yesterday. I got there at around 0830 with a window until 1800.
I was told that I was scheduled for a live load at 1300 the previous day.
They got me a door right away, but the load was not ready so it took some time.

Having a 3.5 hour live load made me late for the Amazon delivery this morning.
My appointment had been deleted, so it had to be rescheduled.

I was fine with that, since it allowed me to t-call the load at Gary without spending 6-8 hours with one of their live unloads.
I really hate that Amazon in Joliet, IL.

The thing is, I sent a mac-22 at around 1100 yesterday, Friday, so the CSR should have seen it.
The CSR knows how Amazon operates and so should have rescheduled it with a new time and delivery number, but they did not.
Today there was no CSR logged in to even answer questions, and that is a big account.

    Webster, IA.
I have a live unload at 0900 tomorrow in Cherokee, IA, about 100 miles away.
But the weather may strand me here for between 1 and 2 days. 35-45mph wind gusts with some snow and up to 1/2 inch of ice accumulation.

I have 5,400 pounds of potato chips, so high winds are not my friend. Neither is ice.

I went in to the truck stop at around noon and it was difficult walking. There was a layer of ice on the ground, and everything else.
While inside I noticed a truck coming in to the parking lot, and sliding. After she parked the driver told me she was sliding on US 20.
She was lucky she got here in one piece.

Too many drivers simply don't respect the weather like they should.

    By respect, I mean fear.

As long as it above 0 in Iowa, it's considered a mild winter.
