Curious what the trailer number is.
Is it an old trailer? Because it seems Swift keeps some of those around way too long.

I am not very familiar with intermodal numbers. Heck, I'm not even allowed to haul intermodal.
But the trailer number has nothing to do with the chassis it is carried on, right?
Two separate entities.
That intermodal part didn't sink in until just now.dptrucker Thanks this. -
swift mechanic pretty much said the same
probably why he had me take it to fontana terminal. -
Intermodal seems like a bucketful of worms. I'm glad I don't have to deal with it.

Moosetek13 Thanks this.

walking to terminal i saw where they are puttimg 3 charging stations. looks like it will charge 2 trucks per station.
also there is an electric truck sitting next to one.
a peterbilt daycab
no decals on it. all white -
Electric is much more practical for daycabs.

When I came back from home time Friday I could not get out the gate at Inver Grove.
Both gates were closed, the card reader wasn't working and the call button just returned an error code.
A call to the DM resulted in a 3-way call with the TM and a couple other people, which finally got me out after they told me how to disable and open the gate manually.
I'm headed to the new St. Louis terminal tomorrow for a b service.
Looking at the GPS map it looks like the little place that was rather dirty and had little room to park, and a couple repair buildings they used for working on trailers or something. The place near the Love's.
Same place?
Did they make it into a real terminal?
Guess I'll find out tomorrow.dptrucker Thanks this. -
The new terminal is on the other side of the street, so, different.
I got there at around 1130 and they were finished with the b service at just after 1400.
Fastest b service I have ever had.
Nice people there, and it seems a very relaxed place.
It is very small, like Otay Mesa or Inver Grove small. And they share the space with another company.
Still, it was not crowded.
I would much rather spend a night there than the Love's a mile away.
Didn't need to as I got a load out right away.dptrucker Thanks this.
