put my truck in for a bit service saturday after finishing my two trips.
had a 1030 appt today.
truck repair on in guage app says should be ready friday.
havent called the shop so dont know what else they found.
showed them the yelow engime lite and a yellow light meaning def filter almost full.
no loads today flr me so didn t work.
asked dl if i was the omly driver not working and he says five other didnt

 

It's hard when things pile up so badly.

after doimg the live unload yesterday and my next stop had a live load appt for 1400.
i went here to check on my truck. after 5 days it was ready.
all the did was put a new pigtail, bit service(90 day imspection), put in shop for freightliner tech to get the regen done.
have 2 quick loads today. hoping he has more since i was off 2 days this week

 

Sioux Falls, SD.

I got to my Costco delivery at 1700, 2 hours early but it didn't help.
My drop turned into a live unload and I didn't get out of there until 2030.
No pplan yet, so we'll what tomorrow brings.

Isn't this the time of the year when freight starts to pick up?

 

Everything worked to my advantage today.

I finally got a couple pplans at around 0930 this morning.
The first was going to Sioux City IA to drop off my mt, and the second was bobtailing to Norfolk, NE to pick up an mt from a repair place.
Crappy loads on the face of it, but...

I dropped my mt, and because I was bobtail I could get into the Walmart in Sioux City. I would not try it with a trailer.
And I needed a Walmart stop.

On my way to Norfolk I got a load that picked up at the Love's in Norfolk. A repower/t-called load.
So I had the load picking up the mt removed and went directly to the Love's to pick up that load.
That load is going to WI, and the timing worked out just right so I could stay here until tomorrow morning.
That gave me the time, and shower credit, to get a much needed shower.

Can't say much for the miles, but it sure was nice to get some food and a shower.

 

I really wonder about some of those CSR people.

That load I picked up at the Love's, and waited until the next morning to start driving should have not been a problem
I had just pulled in to a place for a short break when my DM called. During the conversation he asked if I was on time to that delivery and I told him yes.
Not 2 miles from arriving at the customer I was sent a message that the load had been rescheduled for delivery on Monday - and it was Friday.

It turns out that CSR was in contact with my DM during that call, and he told them that I would be on time. I had until 1500 to deliver and my eta was 1400.
But they took it upon themselves to reschedule the load anyway.
I went ahead to the customer and they were glad to get it unloaded in record time. Took them all of 30 minutes for a live unload.

 

So that went well.

I sat around for a while until my next pplan came in.
A Costco load going to Sioux Falls, SD, but it does not deliver until Monday afternoon.

So I am at the Petro in Albert Lea, MN getting a not so needed 34+.

I had considered trying to deliver early, but Costco does not like it when we show up early. And 2 days early? Well...
Since I really do not like the truck stops in Sioux Falls I decided to run the load as scheduled and just stay here, which is a much better place to be.

picked up a load at jurupa terminal and dropped it at sams club dc in ontario ca.
then went to smuckers in san berdoo to pick up trailer for 1000 live unload here at amazon.
got in line at 0850 and made to frontvof line at 1020.
now its 1205 at they jusy had me move to staging area.
no timetable when i get a door.

yesterday i went to compton ca for a live load(9am appt) and drooped it at ross dc in shafter ca.
got back to terminal yesterday with 30 minutes left on 14.
couldnt start clock till 0530 this morning.
sams was originally set as a 0630 live unload this morning but gor changed yesterday to drop no later tgan 0630 this morning.
didnt have enough hours to do it last jirw

 

Same here. I try to avoid Amazon loads of any sort because they are so inconsiderate.
