Last time I did it, it was $5 a day plus parking.

 

use to be six dollars a day.
pay was not mentioned this time.
swift doesnt pay

 

Surprising that they can fill up the jury boxes.

Most employers will continue to pay you during jury duty ... surprised Swift doesn't. Most judges frown on employers who make it difficult for thier employees to serve.

what a day yesterday.
first load went quick. moreno valley to perris ca. 3 miles loaded.
next load pickup in bloomington ca to sante fe springs.
get to shipper and load appt was day before and live load. dispatch showed drop n hook. had a live unload at 11am. they said i be a work in.
called dl and he said leave. he getcit rescheduled.
so i did.
3rd trip went good. ontario ca to sante clarita ca.
4 th load was not good.
shipper said the trailer had some kind of issue and didnt know if it got repaired. was loaded.
so i droppedcthe empty and foundctge losded trailer. trailers are parked real close togetther so had to pull trailer out of spit to do pretrip.
issue was tandems were were all thecway back.
so moved them to 40 foot mark and couldnt get the pins locked in. they were disengaged when i got the trailer.
was the air release system not the standard pull handle.
airlines looked new.
called on road and they said it be 90 minutes for tech to show up. he got there on 45.
he didnt have parts to fix and would have to come next day if swift said ok.
his opinion was someone used wrong parts to repair ir.
so left the liad therr and made it back here with 5 minutes to spare on 14 hr clock.
