    jurupa valley at home.
hsve off three days this weekend .
dl says no loads for monday and other driver wanted it off.
first time this week with really no drama.
figure if i started around 9 am i wouldnt have to do a 8/2 split.
though i do get home late.
now if i can get the other driver to better communicate.
i like to know what i am doing for the day the nite before.

    Moosetek13 Thanks this.

Johnsons Corner Petro near Denver, CO.
I delivered yesterday afternoon and my next load picks up tomorrow, so I'll get a 34.
But I got the exact load I was hoping for. From here, too much is going into SoCal and I really didn't want to deal with that.
I'm picking up a scrap paper load in Aurora tomorrow and delivering in Prewett, NM the next day.
I wanted that load because it should be easy to get me a load out of the same place that will get me back to Phoenix to pick up my truck.

    dptrucker and Bumper Thank this.

Did that Aurora to Prewett about12 years ago. Didn't get a load out if there. Deadheaded to Farmington and picked up a pallet load put of Walmart.

Sometimes there is a load out, sometimes not. I've had it both ways. I'm hoping for the best.
I haven't been there in years because I moved to GLR, but I remember it well.

My first pplan was picking up there and delivering in Mesa, AZ, so... Phoenix.
But I wasn't able to stop in time to accept it. It was removed just as I was pulling off the highway. Another 2 or 3 minutes was all I needed.

The next one had me going back to Albuquerque for a pickup at Amazon, delivering tomorrow in Goodyear, AZ.
    Right next to Phoenix, again.

The first one didn't deliver until the next day with 200 fewer miles, so it turned out in my favor.

    dptrucker Thanks this.

    Phoenix terminal.
I saw where my truck is parked and I'll pick it up in the morning to move things over.
Can't wait to get back in it.

    dptrucker and dwells40 Thank this.

I'm back in my nice truck. It took about 3 hours to move everything over but I was able to get it done before it reached 100 degrees.
    Currently it is 114.

    dptrucker and dwells40 Thank this.

zonar gave me an unstable connection.
spent 20 minutes this morning trying to get logs to work. when i tried to change to onduty mileage and location was empty. so i manually put it in and still wouldnt change.
ivstarted usingbpaper logs( been years since i done that.)
then when i stopped few hrs later to make my second cup of coffee it was locked as if i was still driving.
    stayed that way all day.
then lucky me hot pulled in for inspection at wheeler ridge sb scales.
he wanted me to send logs and told him i couldnt.
showed him the tablet and explainned i couldnt even show him the last weeks logs.
so he said to make him logs for last 3days which i did.
he accepted it and after completing the level one got passed with no violations.
he reminded me to keep those paper logs for 8 days.
gonna do one more dsy of paper and put truck in shop when i get back from route tomorrow

    Moosetek13 Thanks this.

First thing to do when Zonar acts up is to call Zonar. They can usually fix the problem in real time.
I keep them as a contact number on my phone. Good people there.
    1 (877) 843-3847

Sometimes rebooting the tablet works, and sometimes the tablet has to be replaced in the shop.
If you go to the shop for it, they might just replace it with the GeoTab unit. Then you get to learn a new system all of a sudden.

    dptrucker Thanks this.
