got my truck out of shop for a bad steer tire. monday got the 10 day notice for a cal bit.

 

lathrop terminal.
got into another truck.
22 cascadia.
to many issues with the other one. had to get the def filter sent out to burn the ash out. take about 3 weeks.
took abiut 4 hrs to move into it.
too freaking hot lol.
was gonna take rest day off . but got a load picking up in carson and tcalling in pheonix term.
thought it be easy but took alot of tome at shipper and about 8 hrs to get to pheonix with all the heavy traffic and couple of crashes.
picked this load up in tuscon and delivers after 1600 in tracy.
wont say whats after that till i deliver it

 

That sounds ominous, like they know exactly what you are going to experience at that receiver.

 

Are you idling the truck low for A/C? It should idle at 900-1100rpm when doing 10hr break to not wet stack the engine/exhaust.

 

i use opt idle. idles around 700-800

 

this load delivers at a store. next load after that is what i wont say what it is till i deliver it.

 

But you just gave a hint.

A whole movie could be created from these last couple posts.
AI tracking the movements of trucks, coupled with comments in trucker forums or other social media, to determine the high value loads worth targeting.

It might make for a good movie, but we all know things like Gattaca and 1984... I, Robot or The Matrix... could never happen in real life.

And there you have my latest rant on the current state of the world.

accepted this plan that delivers in sante fe springs ca. had no delivery appt.
so planned to do a 34 reset at petro in lebec ca. still am lol.
when i got dispatched , i told after hour crew what i was planning.
the dispatch still shows no appt.
she says 0800 monday appt. on her screen. tokd her it should be on mine too.
so when i fueled up i did a mac 22 with time i can get there.
all i got was my pta changed.
got 9 hrs 15 m left on 70 for tomorrow

 

Cab blower out...stuck in Denver...hanging out with friends until truck is fixed/after hometime for tooth appointments next week.

 

Usually means, message received and all is good.
