jurupa terminal ca. delivered the stater load and took them about 1.5 hrs to unload. got to the buena park shipper and waited about 1.5 hrs for load to get ready. you wait at curb till the load the trailer. then you drop your trailer at one of the 3 doors and take the one out. tcalled it and got another local pickup. went to raise the landing gear and rod under trailer was missing a bolt and didnt raise the driver side landing gear. grabbed my screwdriver and put it in hole and was able to crank it up. got it to shop to put a bolt in. then tcalled that load here. now taking off till monday morning. already preplanned. p/u in ontario monday and delivers in denver on weds. gonna see if i get to denver on tuesday, if i can tcall it. you all have a safe holiday weekend

I got a nice surprise when I went in for a shower.
She is writing down my info to put me on the list, and as soon as I tell her I work for Swift she tells me that showers are free for Swifties.
No money or shower credits needed.
    Cool!

    Plus-1.
I didn't know that you could not adjust the times like we can with Mac 9. That is just another reason no to go L/O.

I seldom accept a load without adjusting the times to meet my/the needs that Plus-1 never accounts for.
Things like fueling time, scaling a load, slower than 60 mph highways... as well as whatever personal things I need to get done.
So far I have not been stonewalled about the windows.

Lately I've been getting messages that 'the system shows that I am late for delivery, so please do a Mac 22 if I'm going to be late'.
2 in the past 8 days.
I have so much time on this load that I have a 14 hour break tonight, after taking a similar break last night!
It is a good load for the hours I have coming in on my 70 as I am maxing out on hours. But I am far from being even close to late.

Armrgosa, NV. The Area 51 Alien T/S. Well, plus 1 decided that today I now have enough hours to pu next load and get to MN. Pu in Lovelock and Del to East Grand Fork. All of 1500 miles, and plus one thought that I could not do this in 3.5 days. What was surprising, on the pplan, it actually shows FCFS at both Shipper and Cons, with the times. Anyone want to bet that when I get it loaded, all of a sudden the computer will kick back a different time then I might put in. Went inside the establishment here and two people where ######## that they could not use their credit card for their purchase. One person, $1.50 cup of coffee and the other person. $1.80 bottle of Tonic Water. Said that he has never heard of a minimum limit on purchases.

Carson, CA - I'm bobtail for the moment, chilling at a Starbucks, waiting for my customer to have the yard dogs pull about three layers of trailers in order to get to my trailer. I'll t-call this load in Jurupa Valley, then take a 34 at home.

On the 7th I'll be taking on my first student. Looking forward to it. He has sleep apnea and said he needs a 2000 watt inverter. Not sure if that is going to happen or not, but will check it out when I get to the terminal today.

Lovelock, NV with about 2 other Swifties. Busted hump to get this load that they said I need to be there by 1500 only to find out that they would prefer to load 7/4 at 0715. Said no problem. DM asked if I wanted to T-call, nope, that is not happening on a holiday weekend. Taking it all the way to MN where she said that she can get me right back to AZ for home time. We will see.

At home for the holiday weekend.

I have a paper load sitting in the yard that I tried to deliver today (scheduled for Monday 07/07). Guard let me in, I backed in, and was headed inside with the paperwork when the plant manager came out to tell me "I don't have room for it, not scheduled til Monday". So I buttoned things up and headed for the terminal. I'll deliver it Monday morning then pick up yet another load of Gatorade for Pepsi in San Diego.

I really hate getting stacked with loads. All it takes is one thing to go wrong and it all unzips.

I'm at a little hole in the wall truck stop in Mt. Vernon, WA.
I guess I am lucky since there are so few truck stops in the Seattle area.

I delivered a 3 stop Costco load this morning. There were 2 extra pallets of diapers that no one ordered, so they went back in my trailer.
I waited 2 hours before finally being sent to Conway here in Mt. Vernon to get them unloaded. At least there is someplace nearby to park.

No pplan yet for the 4th or beyond, and I don't think the 4th is that good a bet for picking up a load.
