home today and excited to go watch an orchestra concert my friends perform in and the concert is for "Relay for life" I have not been able to go see a concert like this in about 13 years when I was still in high school and performing in them myself. Its pretty awesome that my friend plays the same instrument I did but I have not heard her play yet, just know she has been playing for many years more than me.

Sitting at the FJ in Amarillo, TX. My student completed his 50 hours BTW in a week and I'm confident enough in his skills to graduate him to team status. I got lucky with my first student, he has over 10 years experience driving a straight truck doing local deliveries in the mountains east of Fresno, knows how to drive defensively, just making adjustments to shifting and backing maneuvers.
We delivered a live unload in Lubbock yesterday and had a load stacked on us for pickup in Amarillo headed to Denver, that got pulled when we were being unloaded. Then we got a load from Amarillo to Alabama, but that just got pulled. So now we are chilling and waiting for another load.
Think I'll head on in and see if I can see the rest of the Brazil vs Netherlands match. -
Cooler, but not cool enough during the day or early evening not to idle.
We're around Drain, OR at a Pilot. It's near 90 right now.
This load is a confusing and frustrating one.
First the hiccup at the shipper with the BOL #s, and then the dead slow traffic.
My RM GPS doesn't have the exact address, so I put in the closest one to get me there. When I stopped here I called the customer to verify, but got an answering machine. So I used the QC GPS to compare with the RM, but the QC is using a completely different address number than the one on the BOL and load assignment.
???
Because of all the slow traffic I'll have, at best, around 20 minutes to drop the load and get somewhere to park before my 70 runs out. And that is assuming no more slow traffic tomorrow. -
moose..did you use mac 23 to find it too? i've had the differant address on the qc too. it was putting me on another street where the truck entrance was. not sure if that is what it is doing for you
-
The mac 23 gave me the gate code, but no directions at all.
The address on the QC is 22315 Paradise Ave.
The address on the load assignment is 2795 Paradise Rd.dptrucker Thanks this. -
Yeah they do do that.....like try to hide u up there,lol......not let u go,even I beg sometimes to be sent elsewhere after a month,lol...they just try to induce me with sweeter loads....smooth talking northwest planners...
dptrucker and scottied67 Thank this. -
Well, I've served my time up here. Time for something different.
Lucky for me I have a home time in MN to work with.
