Gotta agree with Squeak, Denver has moved to the top of my "dark brown list"along with Montana and ANYTHING in the Lancaster planning area.
At least Command has decent loads out of Dallas/Houston.

Dropped my soup load in Atlanta today. What a joy coming thru KY and TN hills with that heavy trailer. Sent a preplan for a live load in downtown Atlanta at 6pm going to Houston Sunday morning. Only have 2 left on my 14 so mac9'd it and it was removed. Fine with me, didn't want to go downtown during rush hour anyway. Pushed my PTA to 12am so we'll see what else comes along.

I don't know if they are selling Superbowl tickets yet at the Mothership or if it's all online or sold out. At least the weather is nice today if a bit muggy.fr8monkey Thanks this.

In my over 3 years here, I have never been treated so unprofessionally as I have with the planners at this terminal. This is the 2nd time in 2 weeks.

I don't know about you guys, but so far my Denver experiences have been good. I've never sat for more than a day in Denver, although as a company driver that means taking cans or something heavy over the Rockies and I'm okay with that.
On the OTHER hand...
... my limited experience with Edwardsville leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I t-called a load into the terminal that was ideal for me to run west, get home quickly, and have a good week for miles. Instead they had me futzing around sitting for a total of three days to run a 22 mile load and a 222 mile load. I confirmed with my DM that if you are solo it is impossible to get long loads out of Edwardsville, because they are feeding their relay fleet. If you are running as a team, then Edwardsville is okay.
Just made it back to Jurupa Valley after delivering in Commerce City, then picking up a t-call in Jurupa Valley one mile from the terminal. There's a new system for t-calling loads at JV, you have to scan the documents with a trip sheet before you turn in the paperwork at the dispatch window. This is in case they misplace the documents. Not a bad idea and gives me a cover sheet with the t-call load to go with the rest of my paperwork.
Doing a split 8 in order to bobtail home before midnight so I can take a 34 and be ready to pick up a new student on Sunday. -
At least you got loads .. sitting in Phoenix not getting squat ... I turned down Costco load last night to much time ... They may be punishing me.

I just looked at the Bubble Map in the dispatch/planner's office in Jurupa Valley. The biggest red bubble is Phoenix (more drivers than loads) by far. That's a bit of a shock, as Phoenix normally has a green bubble, and usually a big green bubble. Jurupa Valley has a lot of loads, Denver has a lot of loads, Chicago, and most of the upper Midwest through New England states have green bubbles. Laredo also has a BIG green bubble (the biggest).
I wish we had access to the bubble map when we choose our loads.... -
There are loads here in Denver, but according to my DM, they are just not releasing them, and what they did to me regarding a load 100 miles from my home was pure BS because I would not cover a load. How many company trucks to you think are in the area, right there near Aurora that could have covered that load for 8 tonight. She says that there are loads in Edwardsville, just getting one.
