Parked at Cabellas in Ft Worth doing a 10.

Got unloaded at Tractor Supply in Ft Scott KS this morning then went 20 miles down the road and reloaded at Pitts Plastics. From the time I hit the docks to pulling away was 23 minutes for 24 pallets. They're my new favorite shipper!! Told the forklift guy thanks! and bought him a coke.

Took off to Ft Worth and had enough time when I got here to drop my load at the recv instead of waiting till morning. Have a load of coke to p/u in the morning here going to Houston to get me home for a few days off. Doesn't delv till Sunday morning so I'll park it at the terminal tomorrow afternoon. Will go home Friday night and Saturday, do the delivery Sunday then start my official four days off.

Still working Target in Chambersburg, and still no sign of the money I was promised for this gig.
There was one extra payment of $50.07 for one day, but it did not make up the difference.
    That is 2 paychecks now.
I am either being royally hosed, or I am going to have one whopper of a check one of these years.

I ended up being selected for one of the candy loads, it said I was one of the best candidates to make it a success so I went to Los Banos, Morgan Hill, Marina and then last stop in Sand City. It started off great and I was running over 2 hours early as of the first delivery and then got on the 152 to head to Morgan Hill, as I was on the 152 they shut it down because of a fire near Gilroy so after a very slow crawl we all had to make a Uturn on the hwy and go back the other way and then I had to be rerouted all the way to the 580 to 680 and back down the 101 which all of this caused me over a 3 hr delay but the boss rerouted me to San Jose for the extra miles, he figured I wasnt going to get the last store or 2 delivered and would be stuck out for the night but somehow I pulled it off and got the last one delivered by 22:30 and they closed at 2300 so it was dang close and I even still had 4 hours left on the 14 to make it back to the dc with 9min left on the clock. When I went into the office the ect was shocked I was back and he only planned me to Dublin tomorrow because he was told I wouldnt get back, on the positive note I should be good to get a Vegas load on Saturday and the Dublin still isnt too bad at 466 miles plus todays load was over 500 miles and all the stop pay. I need a good week after taking the vacation and only working 2 days last week.

That is an excellent load while running recap with your hours. You'll have 10-12 hours when finished, so you are all set to get another good load.
By the looks of it you can average out your days to run about 9 hours each day. Nice and relaxed days, I might add.

    dptrucker Thanks this.

Very good. A lot of drivers would have picked up the CB mike and said, "Anyone wanna buy a pry bar?"...

The candy loads really screwed us up yesterday. Thursday is our biggest day, and we can barely cover it with the surge drivers we have. Then Target goes and throws 10 candy loads on us yesterday...
