Well finally got loaded out of JCI in Yuma wait 17 hours for 7 pallets I wanted to say WTF to shipping. But I just smiled sign my paper work and left.

Why'd you decide to drop your hazmat ? Just curious

 

I'm out of Lancaster. Getting rid of my hazmat because it isn't worth the hassles to get $35 extra pay for the load.

 

oh ok...the hazmats I've been running haven't been too bad. Biggest hassle so far was having a BIG disagreement with some moron in Compliance over the routing to Houston from a small town north of Atlanta, just a couple months ago. He hung up on me and I went the route I felt was safest regardless of what he said. Told my DM about it the next day and said it was the LAST I would pull for Swift. Of course I still do. She has a Zen calming effect on me..sometimes.

 

Are you out of Houston? I hate going there and my personal vehicle is in Lancaster even though I live east of Houston.

 

Yeah, that's my terminal. It's a real dump but I really like the staff and have a good DM. I keep my car there and live up in Spring a little ways up I-45.

 

Dunno... I haven't used the Mac-34 other than to check my PTA, so I guess I should explore that. However, my DM let me know that my using Mac-22 to update with earlier PTA's was a good thing, so I guess it will function the same way in terms of advising the planners of any changes in my schedule.
