    Idaho Falls, ID.

Real nice drive through WY into ID, but the winds started picking up about 40 miles from here on US 26.
Supposed to be 55-65 MPH gusts by tonight, so I'm glad I got here early enough to avoid that.

Wellington, UT. What a day. first a level 1 DOT. Pulled in and the lady asked me if I had time and I said yes, then she told me that the inspector would like to give me a level 1. What was a going to say. No. Truck and trailer a clean bill of health. then got here to this t/s and have a red lite blinking at me for a message. The shipper did not load all of the product so I had to return to SLC. Well, just came over us-6, so now back over again and then get to come back again. Nice thing, some extra miles, and I was getting detention from the time that I checked in this morning until I was finished this evening. Sent MAC 22 and about 10 mins later get computer generated message, load del rescheduled, and it was the original same time, 0800 on the 12th. Like I am going to get 1100 miles from 0700 in the morning to cons by 0800 on the 12th. Even if I was just starting my day at that time, there was no way 1250 miles in 37hour.

Learn to love detention ... it's free money. You get paid by the mile, spending your 70 to do so. Detention puts money in your pocket without investing time off of your 70.

Middle of VA. Unload in NC tomorrow, then pick up a load to tcall in Memphis on Wednesday.

So everything went your way except for the delivery time, which you can easily change with yet another Mac 22.

You got a clean inspection - which is points to you, and your RA score.
You got extra miles because you had to go back for more product.
And on top of all that, you got detention pay from the time you first hit the dock until then.

I'd say that was a very good days work!
    !!!

Hangin out at the DC in Denton, TX

next load doesn't pick up until 1500 and I'll be running all over Texas for 1,000 miles. Not a bad load but we got here yesterday evening. This week has been kinda slow but I can't complain too much we will only run 3,300 miles this week and with a team truck that is a lot of down time, but I'll still manage to gross over $800 this week so I can't complain too much.

I just don't like to sit too much because I'm away from home to work, not to hang out at truck stops and DCs, but the alternative would be to run OTR and we would have to run over 5,000 miles to make the same kind of money so I guess I'll stop looking in the gift horse's mouth.

Brocelli, maybe as a team you might consider getting on with a dedicated account with a regular run. I was lucky enough to land the TJ Maxx dedicated out of LA on a team and we're running coast to coast each week. I understand that before the new 34 reset rule last summer it was normal to reset each week back at LA home base, but now we seem to reset in Phoenix more often than not. We get 5-6K miles per week.

I'm not unhappy enough to leave this account yet, besides it's just one slow week. If its a continuous problem maybe we will think about leaving, but they do pay teams a good cpm so if I do have a slow week it still pays pretty good. Rumor has it this account pays more cpm to teams than any other team pay at swift. So that kinda makes me leery of leaving. Like I said I'm gonna quit looking the gift horse in the mouth.

thats true but being on this Target account I do not get detention these days since everything is drop and hook. Today went well doing Visalia and then a load up to riverbank modesto. Later today doing the fun Pasadena store then heading over to Maricopa to the Purina for a backhaul, maybe I might make it there before dark if I can start early enough and get good traffic. That purina route was a bit....fun the last time I did it in the dark, couldnt see where I was going half the time.
