Hurricane, WV at TA.
I picked up this load early this morning (0200) and promptly did a mac22 because the delivery was set for tomorrow at 0230 - nearly 1700 miles away.
I had a bit of fun with the reason why...
1700 miles in 24 hours?
LOL, Rudolph and the reindeer are booked.
With the hours I have coming in I figure I'll get to Golden, CO sometime on the 26th.
I started driving again this afternoon after a very short 10, and I only drove a bit over 200 miles to get here.
I stopped here because there is a tobacco shop a block away that carries my brand, plus I'll be able to get myself back to daytime driving with no detriment to my schedule.
The KFC across the street has really gone downhill. Most of it seemed rather old, even though it was right at the dinner rush. -
never cared for KFC, wife loves it but I have refused to eat it for several years. High prices for sub par chicken and sides, of course im not a fried chicken eater either.
Just got home a little after 3am, been a busy week for sure and maybe if I would of worked tomorrow it would of been a record check for sure, might at least be a record for a normal 5 day week. -
Back here in London. Got the morning off without asking. Supposedly got back to late for a load. I think that the new planner just forgot about me. What was going to be a great week, well, not so now.

OKC at the TA. Going to Brunswick, Maine. Not only my first trip to Maine, but also my first east coast trip, since I've hid out on dedicated accounts. I'm not going to lie, I'm nervous. Can't beat the miles though.

Mt. Vernon, IL at TA.
The delivery appointment was changed to 12/26 2200. I hate late night live unloads, especially in an area that is so hard to find parking after dark.
I'm hoping the TA West won't be full the night after Christmas.
The late delivery gives me enough time to get in a 34. -
probably a hit or miss, lot of drivers will be home for christmas but there is still a lot of freight running
been shopping all day and the stores are hectic, got all my stuff for a nice Christmas dinner im doing tomorrow, going to do a prime rib, twice baked potatoes with boursin and got baby brussel sprouts but havent decided what im going to do with them just yet, wife is excited since I never cook anymore.Moosetek13 Thanks this. -
