Looking at the weather map down that way, not a place to be right now. They were showing some serious weather in AL and TX this afternoon. Yes, Steve did run that fleet for some little time.

Yes, I TRIED the reefer fleet for about a week. My problem (with the reefer fleet) stemmed from the fact that it was run by a DM who's previous experience was the newby drivers out of Phoenix. They were more worried about their reefer trailer than whether I got a load or not. After dropping the reefer in Grandview they put me back in the 05 division and ignorred me. When I refused a load because of no delivery appointment the DM suddenly took an interest in me and tried to micro manage what I did. I figured if I was gonna run 05 division then I was better off with my old DM and went back.
Rattlebunny Thanks this. -
Dead tired and at home. Had fun with the boys at the Air Show at Luke Air Force Base. Now if only the Pizza delivery guy would get here.
SteveH85396 Thanks this. -
He has to get through the same traffic you did.
Thanks for taking the boys. I owe you BIG TIME ! -

At home near Pittsburgh, PA, taking a 34. Truck's parked out back. I'm tempted to sleep in the truck tonight... to be honest, it's more comfortable now than my bed upstairs!

Taking a 34 after delivering a coast to coast TJ Max dedicated in San Pedro earlier this evening. We'll try to hook up with another run to the east coast on Tuesday morning. This last week was a little over 6000 miles running from LA to Boston and back.
This dedicated team thing seems to be a good thing during this 1st quarter. My paychecks are larger than when I was running solo during the 4th quarter, for sure.
I had two sessions as a "vampire" (night driver) this last time in Ohio and again in Kansas, that featured some FIERCE side winds broadside from the north. At times I wanted to pull over and set the trailer tandems to the back, to get more stability, but I continued on and we made it through just fine.
For those of you that may not know, if you set the trailer tandems all the way back on a light trailer (which is legal in the midwest), it will give you some extra stability in side winds. -
'Tis true. I haul target reefers. -
been running hard since Friday, shut down this morning going over my 11 by 3 minutes and after my 10 got a load going to Pasadena and then up to Riverbank Modesto again where I just left from. I cant complain though since im getting a great week for miles. I plan to talk to the boss about changing my days off a little since im off Wed and Thur, the planners keep wanting me to work every Thurs since too many are off and its busy but Tues normally is slow so if I can switch to that day off then I could be making more money plus be helping with a busy day making it a win/win.
