It was nice out when I stopped in Limon at the Flying J two hours ago, then I checked the weather after seeing Lepton's post. It's foggy now and the radar doesn't look encouraging. Looks like I made a good call by not pushing to Lamar for the night, I'll just get into Wichita Falls tomorrow and run out the last couple of hours to Coppell Sunday morning.

Reporting live from Pasig, Manila, Philippines. Only 3 delays getting here yesterday. That was every flight. Delayed in Columbus due to ice and they could not get the plane to the gate, then delayed in Chicago, just because it is Chicago and it was American Airlines. Then delayed in Japan so finally arrived here about 1 hour late only to find one suitcase missing. Was not the only one. Many of us that transferred from Japan on that American Airlines flight has missing luggage. We received half, and most of my important stuff was in the one missing, like Mr. Walker. That is okay. I found that here right around the corner from our hotel for about $15/less for a liter.

When I got through the gates to the waiting area and saw her in a short black dress and nylons and come running at me, it was all worth it. Now pretty much been up almost 40 hours. It always takes me at least a day to get used to new surrounding sleep areas.

My mileage is because I was on a dedicated account before going OTR while waiting for my current slot to open on another dedicated account. The week after New Years I only hit 2400 miles. Every other week has been about 3k OTR. Dedicated I had no problem getting 3k plus because I had set routes with few drops.

The points are automatic. If you get called in for the review you get 25 points deducted. I was at 0.

I have -19 points right now, my idle time currently is almost 0 and for last year it was extremely low. I have only had someone say something once about watching my idle time, they said I was doing ok but to keep an eye on it and it was at 16%, I was like are you serious? My site manager at the time told me to keep doing what im doing and to make sure im getting enough sleep that thats all he cared about. I know im very profitable and recently my DM pulled up my screen and showed it to me, I saw the revenues listed and was thinking "wtf and they pay us this little?"

I had a belly laugh with that one! Yeah, if we participated in more of the revenue it would certainly be nice.

Waking up just east of Guernsey, WY with only a couple of hours to go to Casper this morning, then shut down for a 10 and make delivery at 9:00 pm. Very calm night, almost had the eerie feeling that the hammer is going to fall. Waaayyyyy too warm for this time of year. The temperature was about 39ºF when I went to sleep and now just before dawn it's finally down to 32ºF. Didn't idle at all last night, just used the bunk heater with a window cracked for fresh air and slept like a baby. The bunk heater shut off automatically sometime last night so I cranked it up this morning and I'm preparing hot water for coffee.

Then I checked MyRadar and see that a band of snow is coming my way. Maybe I won't dawdle and watch the sun rise over the Ft. Laramie valley after all.

I'm glad I did have a chance to out this rest area, it's a very peaceful sleep. Took a walk this morning and listened to a band of coyotes passing through, searching for their final snack before bed time.

    Memphis, TN at Love's.

I delivered at the Walmart DC? a couple miles from here.
    Very quick and easy there.

I had intended to swing by the terminal to refill my oil jug but decided to just come here. I probably would have ended up staying the night there and I didn't want to chance losing a good mt.
There were only 2 spaces open when I got here at ~1400.

Got a load a few minutes ago headed to Ohio. Way too much time on it so I'm hoping I can deliver it early. It's a drop, but the time is 2130 on the 2nd.
And I'll have time to swing by the terminal in the morning to get my oil.

My next load better be sending my to MN for home time. If it does I'll get there right on time.
I need to see my doctor to adjust my bp meds before I go in for my next DOT physical. My pressure has come down a lot with the current med, but it is right at the borderline. I need it to be about 10-20% stronger.
My card expires 2/10, so I'll be on hold once home time is complete and until I get it done. Heck, I'll probably be on hold as soon as I get home since I can't get there until at least the 4th.

The Walmart and Sam's in Casper are right next to each other, with a huge space in the back between the stores where there's parking for about a dozen trucks. I arrived here at 8:30 am after an easy two hour run up from Guernsey. Slept off and on most of the day and watched Fury. Couldn't help but think how living in a tank with four other guys is so similar to team driving! :D :D :D "Best Job I Ever Had!"

I have a 9:00 pm delivery at Sam's, so with my early arrival I'll have a fresh clock and be able to log in for Pretrip and Delivery at the same time for the live unload. Then it's off to Worland for a drop and hook headed to Commerce, CA. I'll run through the night and make it with plenty of time to spare to Little America. Then I'll call it an early day, rest, then get up to watch my Seahawks in the Superbowl before doing another vampire run down I-15 in Utah. This load doesn't deliver until late on the 3rd, so I'll be in great shape.

    I like those Worland loads.
Quick and easy. Most of them are very light.

I'm checking out MyRadar and www.weather.com and Wyoming is surprisingly WARM for this time of year with almost no wind. Kinda freaky.

Makes me feel a lot better about not being anywhere near Phoenix...

Have you ever taken the 14 into Worland? It's prohibited to go out that way, but if you're coming in heading east on I-90 from Montana you can go inbound on it. Very pretty, 9,000 feet at the top of the pass, and breathtaking views.
