Moosetek, was that you that turned me on to the concept of using paper filters with a French coffee press? If so I owe you a huge debt of gratitude. Finer grind, dwell time in the pot to release all the flavor and caffeine, then a slow press with the filter, and...
... oh my goodness.

Loves, exit 17 I 84 Oregon. Don't really want to bore you all, since I'm doing a dedicated run, but I'm getting 3k mikes a week and a 34 at home every week. I can't complain a bit right now. [emoji385][emoji385][emoji385]

Dedicateds are nice. Consistent miles, and usually a decent paycheck, but ####, do they get boring.
Lepton1, DocWatson, OceanDan and 1 other person Thank this. -
Yup, that was me.
I may be full of it, but sometimes that includes a good tidbit of information.
I'm happy you're pleased with the results.Lepton1 Thanks this. -
Denver, CO at TA on home time until Saturday morning.
I was SO happy to be able to slide those tandems forward.
The forklift operator at Costco remarked on how strange it was that all the light stuff was at the front, and the heaviest stuff right at the back.
There were potato chips and recliners up front. Go figure. -
Had the same load a couple weeks ago ... mine was set up as tcall in OKC since it was an over the weekend wait, but I went with the early delivery on Friday, since I snagged a Command load from the same shipper.
Had to go through the CSR to set up. But when I got there, the lady working check in knew nothing about and was hissing and spitting. But then looked at me and said "it's not your fault, you and I just do what we're told. I'll take care of you." I just played dumb, didn't tell her, it was me that initiated the change. Had me drop the loaded in a door and she had the YD grab one of their mts and put it on a door for me while I was dropping. All I had to do was go over, get under it and wait for the green light.
Santa Nella, drop tomorrow, then home for a week. Going to do my taxes. Oh, joy! -
Didn't know there is a Walmart DC at Jurupa Valley, back to Texas with me

Awake this morning with a pplan and not even off hold yet. A 2 stopper. One in San Bernardino and then San Diego. Found out something yesterday. When I get the new truck will only have the window insurance for 1 year. After that I will cancel it. For what I paid weekly in the insurance for the last 3 years and what the windshield would have cost out of pocket, it is not worth it. Have paid close to $450 over the 3 years plus the $100 deductible for a shield that cost $265 plus $75 labor.

In the dock at United Warehouse in Tulsa. Nice folks here got me in a dock right away, in spite of being a day early. Had to call my DM to get my PTA changed so the planners can start getting me a load to OKC. Going to take home time and visit my brother. Surgery on his shoulder seems to have been successful and I'll give him a hand moving some heavy stuff.
