ahhh. The sound of micro managing....
at that point, I'd wonder if it would even be worth the fight anymore. I mean heck. He's got a fuel stop in Fargo, and computer knows best. I'd get my DL and Phoenix to send me a message saying "we refuse to open you up for fuel at station code ND123" then drive it till it runs out of fuel.

OceanDan, Rattlebunny and Lepton1 Thank this.

I was running on fumes in san diego and didn't think I could make it to ontario. They straight up told me "we cannot open you up at the pilot, they are no longer in our system, run the truck out of fuel and call breakdown". Talk about commitment to sticking it to PFJ...

I was over gross so I wanted to cross winterhaven with a light fuel load. I ended up making it to the ontario petro.

I've been told the same thing. My truck only has two 50 gallon tanks. So I've been close to fumes a lot. They don't care. I'd just make sure to get that on the Qualcomm. That way if you are late for your load because they refused to fuel you. You shouldn't get a service failure.

Yep our flatbed trucks had 70 gallon tanks to make room for the side boxes. Honestly one of the reasons I left swift was because of the PFJ thing. I prefer flying J showers and losing that was a quality of life issue for me.

I fuel at pilot/flyingJ all the time. As in I get routed there. There has to be a miscommunication or something between DL's and whoever is in charge of this crap.

I fueled a week or so ago at the pilot in billings mt. Another swift was there getting 50 gal and was wondering how I got a fillup.

Regardless someone is too lazy to do their job for you.

Heading back out again today. They shot me quite a few loads yesterday going to Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. The one going to Virginia was awesome, delivered around Richmond area, and I reallllly wanted to go back and visit. I put my feet in the ground and finally got one heading West. I hope to bebop around there a week or two before sailing home. Besides a quick stop for a funeral back in January, I have not seen home at all since mid-December. Just paid off my drive tires, and I'd like to build up maintenance money before I do make it home. See you all out there out there! I'm heading to Cheyenne.

That's not pilot that's town pump or whatever. I'm willing to bet you don't get routed to corporate PFJ stores.

    That's Broadway, not corporate.

Yelp says its Broadway, flying J's website says its corporate. Either way you have a good point. Luckily for Houstank there is a Petro and a loves in Fargo, and a town pump/pilot in Miles City. Bismarck has the freeway 147 truck stop which is a J, but I've never fueled there.

I have no idea about fuel in Minot, by truck stop book is in the shop with my truck.

I will say that you are correct, I haven't fueled in a corporate store, although I thought the Pasco one was. (Literally the crappiest truck stop I've been routed to.).

I have also not had the need to.... Yet. I had a trip from miles city to Williston, to Worland with fuel set up in Cheyenne, that had me drop to a 8th of a tank, but that was as close as I've came to needing an emergency fuel.
