I'm the calm one... supposed to be?
How so?
Do you know how many times I've been banned from TTR?
A couple were supposed to a be permanent ban.
It was only by my natural charm, and some begging, that they let me back in.
Or did you know me as a kid and teenager, when I actually was 'the calm one'?!
Now, I'm only a bitter old man that simply doesn't care what anyone thinks.

At the TA in Commerce City, CO (Denver east), had to pay $14.00 for reserved parking! Place was full @ 4:30. At least it's tax deductible.
Went against my "no Montana" rule and took a 9,000 lb load to Missoula.OceanDan Thanks this. -
Steve , check the weather and road reports before you head north .

Moose...that feeling was based on a comment you made to me after one of my "no trailer" rants where you told me I was "aggressive" and you were more "passive". After reading your comment above I now see where you're coming from. I'm not a youngster either but have developed a low patience threshold since coming to Swift.

True!! I'm at the FlyJ in Cheyenne. Came down from Bozeman today. Light traffic, dry roads and light breeze till I got 30 miles north of Cheyenne heading south on I-25. Wind, freezing rain, snow and fog all rolled into one. I-80 was closed a little while ago to Laramie so there are trucks parked everywhere.
I I have a fuel stop at the T/A East on my way to KS. I was going to leave at 2am but after looking at the radar around Denver I might wait till daylight so I can see the road surfaces betterOceanDan Thanks this. -
Question for you SoCal drivers . I'm delivering in San Diego in the morning and picking up next load at Amazon in Moreno Valley at 18:46. I'll need a place to lay up close to Amazon for a few hours . Anyone have any suggestions ? I don't want to be too far away due to the evening traffic
Tanx ,

I did BEFORE I took the load. Looks like once I'm north of Cheyenne it will be smooth sailing.

Steve, I'm jealous of you. You're delivering right next to my hometown. Missoula used to be a great town, now it's a wannabe Seattle. I'm sure you've stayed there before, but the TA parking lot is a rutted out dirt mess. The Town Pump/Pilot on the other side of I 90 (exit 96) is paved, has better amenities, minus the restaurant. (McD's). The TA has a strip club in the north side of the parking lot, if you like throwing 20's at haggard looking meth addicts lol.
I'm at the TA on I 65 in Montgomery Al. Place was packed. I had to pay for parking. (########)
I picked up at the paper mill in Cottonton AL, right by The FT Benning School for Wayward Boys.
I guess they have both Tankers and women at Sand Hill now which is a lot different then when I was a young grunt 17 years ago. Driving through this area brought back a lot of memories. -
