I have no "sense of adventure" (least not while driving a truck). Remember, I'm a retired air traffic controller, I plan EVERYTHING!

That said, I have no idea where I'm gonna stop tomorrow night enroute to SD ( from Superior, MT).

Still stuck here in Purgatory, Phoenix. Found out that when my truck went into the KW dealer I was placed on the vacation board and ECT can not remove me. My Dm knew I was out of KW on Friday and did not remove me. She also told me that she had a couple of loads from here to TX to pick up and forgot to send me them. PTA shows yesterday morning and nothing for 2 days. Mac 30 has been nothing. Think time for a talk with my TM tomorrow and get moved to another board. I think that my Dm has too much on her plate right now and is not really watching me since I signed the new contract.

Yes, 43K out of Cali on I-10. Handled the hills like a champ. The only problem is the speed sensor in the front. Start to come up on a slower truck and slows me down to their speed some distance behind so have to wait for a large space to get over and try and pass and get my speed back up again.

I'm off home time tomorrow, but I have to get a bit inspection done before I can resume driving.
And when they do that inspection they will find a couple things wrong, which I hope they can fix promptly.
Several other shops have failed, however.

Inver Grove has been both good and bad, but mostly good. I'm hoping for the best.

Generally twice a year. I've been hit with the winter driving sim twice in two years, and whatever the sim du jour was last spring.

In three years I've done it twice. Once within 6 months, and last year.

Or you do what I do, I call her ahead of time and make certain that SHE puts me back in the 05 division. Doesn't help if she put you on the O/O vacation board (which she will ANY TIME you take any time off) WITHOUT telling you.
