Mostly irritating when they are controlling my money and how much I can make
sisterannie Thanks this. -
picked up a new 2016 trailer in Baytown, Tx headed to Hurricane, UT with a nice bolt in a tire. Four hours later I have a new tire and seven hours left on my 14. I decided to cut my losses and call it here at the TA.
HousTank Thanks this. -
That's where I grew up. Well, almost. Actually lived in Caldwell, the next town to the west. Btw, there is a Flying J there at exit 29. Say hi to my dad and brother for me while you're there. Lol.
Sitting at the TA in Morris right now waiting for my load to get to Gary so I can pick it up and head homeward. I will actually tcall that in Columbus then boogie home. -
Pffftt ... if you're not down to single minutes ... just sayin'.

Yep ... I always pad 5 minute of off duty after my pretrip ... Had to go back a couple of time and edit the pretrip up to get out of violation ...

Did not want to take a chance for parking at the Hook or T/A in Boise and next stop was the Stage Stop and all that I needed was a back up in the construction area on a Friday evening in Boise. It is called planning man, planning.
Today started out with a bad trailer tire so off to the T/A I go after MAC 55. Get there and have to call road service to tell them that I am there and then they call back the shop and say okay to write up the repair. Then pull in front of a bay. Then watch those around me coming in after me and getting fixed so go inside and ask why. Find out that Swift has new procedures. They have to take photos and then write up a estimate and send to breakdown. Then wait for them to receive and approve and send back. After all said and done, about 3.5 hours to replace a tire from the time arrive and done.
Then receive a pplan. Not real sure. Live unload in Amarillo Monday between 0700-0945. As far as I know fr8 is not that great in the area. I feel that I will be sitting on Monday. Tried to find out how fr8 is and was told by my old DM she would look into it and if bad would remove the pplan. Never heard back from her. So looking like for 2 weeks, about 4400 miles. This is getting old fast. Need to find another terminal and DM fast. My old one from long time back called me this week and told me to get a hold of him next week and he has some recommendations. Steve, you know who I am talking about -
or maybe start accepting loads? that just might fix your problems squeak...
Buckeye91 Thanks this.
