I just leased a truck with Swift a week ago. So far I have ran 2 loads each with +1,000 miles. Here is a shot I took a couple days ago. I checked my settlement online, and I'm getting $1.123 per mile. Plus fuel surcharge. About .04 I leased a brand new truck. No cam on my truck!
You get fsc on loaded and mt unlike old pay scale and mt pay went up to 1.11 per mile. Fsc been between .037 to .057 recently.
Florence, KY at the TA. I got here at 1845 and all that was available was about 8 reserved parking spaces. The TA 5 miles away was completely full. So I snagged one. By the time I came back to the truck after paying for the space, everything was full. My PTA was 0900 this morning (8/12). I get a pplan at 0830. Pick up at 2000 and deliver 900 miles away by 8/14 0015. Well, I wasn't going to drive all night after being up all day so I pushed the delivery time out to 1600. The load was removed. About 15 minutes later I get another plan to pick up at 1300 and deliver on the 13th. Pick up and delivery locations were identical, Bush Bros. headed to Augusta, WI. It's funny how a better load sometimes comes up after I turn one down. From there I'll be expecting loads that get me to Denver for my home time on the 17th. It seems they are working in that direction now, but who knows. I'll be out of hours when I deliver this load so I'll be stuck at Bush Bros. for the night. I'm hoping for a load out of there, since we do so much out of that one.
0-24 $2.518 25-99 $1.768 100-149 $1.218 150-199 $1.188 200-249 $1.168 250-499 $1.148 500-799 $1.108 MT is $1.11 This is the base, FSC is in addition ... though about $.20 less than the old plan. Over all I do better on the new plan than the old ... Don't mind doing a 20% or 30% deadhead for a load.
At a Loves a few miles south of Winchester, VA on I-81. Finished my load to the south side of Atlanta from Chicago then hustled down to Cottonton, AL for a bulk paper load up PA. Always fun running I-85, I-77 & I-81 at 77K lbs gross. Good miles though so who cares. Gives me ~1,200 for Friday morning. With a little luck might have a decent week finally..like the old days. This loads going to Moosic...hey!, that rhymes with Moosetek!!!
