Spokane, WA at the J.
From Lewiston, ID I was stacked with two loads.
The first picked up at the terminal and delivers here in Spokane tomorrow morning.
The second picks up at the Swift drop yard not far away and is headed to OH.
I turned them both down siting 'home time request'.
2 minutes later they are both resent, with a t-call at Inver Grove Heights for my home time.
The one to Spokane is only 11.5k, so it made easy work of the hills on 95/195. The next load is a fairly light 22.5k.
It's nice to finally get some light loads. -
Here in Moriarty. From Havasau to Flagstaff a whopping 5.5mpg with the lovely hills and headwind, and then from Flag to here up to a little over 7. A very rough ride with the tandems all the way forward. Loaded this load like crap. All of 27k and all up front. The trailer is not even loaded 2/3rd's of the way back. Gotta love I-40 on a Saturday and Sunday going east. All of the idiot drivers coming out of California

Dang. I run Walmart out here, I'm home in Montana for my 34, but if you're ever up here again, get ahold of me and I'll buy you a coffee.Moosetek13 Thanks this. -
Tonight I'm at the TA in Missoula, MT.
I love driving through Montana; it's so pretty up here.
My 'light' load isn't light after all. The given weight was only for one stop and the actual gross is over 43k.
Mostly in the back end, so the tandems are way back.
The day cab driver that t-called the load had written down the weights on a piece of paper, which I didn't trust. So I stopped very soon to get a CAT scale ticket. He was pretty close, only off 40 pounds. I had to get the scale ticket to t-call it at Inver Grove anyway.
I've heard very bad things about T-Mobile signals from many people here.
But in the 2 months I've had my broadband through T-Mobile I've only been without service twice, and that includes some pretty remote places. Sometimes the connection is a slower one, like here, but for the most part I've been happy with it. And considering the price difference, I'm VERY happy with it. $40 vs. $120 for 20GB of data? Heck yes! -
Granger Washington off the I82 best tacos in the whole world!(almost)

And you are 13 miles from my DC lol. All of the sudden you all are in my area. Moose and I passed each other today, as I drove from Missoula to Grandview. I snagged a load there and am north of Moses Lake for the night. The food at that truck stop in granger is making me fat. But it tastes sooooo goooood!fr8monkey Thanks this.

The Flying J, Ardmore, OK. Showed up this morning and they could not even find on the computer that I was supposed to be there today but they took it at Best Buy. Mac 30 was coming up crap. All overnight runs, pick up at 2130 and deliver 1530 450 miles away, and then sent a pplan, pu 105 miles away and deliver 270 miles, high value, you know, have to be 200 miles away. I have 5 hours left on my 70 today. Tell me how was going to do that. Then said the heck with it, pushed out my PTA until morning. Then yesterday get a svc failure message for delivery on Saturday. When sent in arrival call at 0945 forgot to push the OK button to send. Called into ECT and told me to take care of it on Monday. By then, failure message. Called my terminal and got the FM on the phone and she could be believer that her own people could not take care of the problem right then. Was told that it would be fixed. Also when I showed up at 0945 for a 10AM appointment, they told me that I was 3 hours late.
