Dropped my load and the DC here and bobtailed out. No pplan but was told that if I need a mt in the morning then just come back in and they will give me one. Mac 30 all day and nothing. So much for being told that there is all of this freight here. Even ECT was a waste of time and there are no planners for this area that you can talk to on the weekend. Not sure where the weekend planning is done. Command called me on Friday morning and asked my status and told then that need a load for Monday morning and never heard from them again that day. Even today send in a message and after 3 hours no reply so called in and was told, we have now messaged the planner. My complaint, I messaged you 3 hours ago.

I was looking at El Paso. They did not approve my transfer. They are real picky. I might have something else in the works and it does not include Swift.

To find the planner for an area do a Mac 34 and scroll to the bottom .

    If you're in VA you're in Jonestown's ECT area . In other words , you're screwed .

Actually when I did a mac 34, it came up Harrisburg. Still screwed because there planning is handled by some other office on the weekend, and with my luck, it was Jonestown. I remember now why I hate coming East

FWIW I'm not happy at all with IGH. I changed DMs a while back (my previous DM tried hard but was totally overwhelmed) and while my present DM is better still leaves much to be desired. Since I only have 3 1/2 months left on my lease I'll just keep doing what I'm doing.

Harrisburg is Jonestown ... Jonestown is Harrisburg.

I've found the planners there to be spotty. Some are great and will work with you. The more flexible you are the more options you have. Some others, not so much. They just tell you they will get you something and you may or may not eventually get a PP.

Today they sent me a pplan. Empty trailer move and then to a different DC for wal mart when there are many loaded trailers right here ready to go. Then they were sending me to a area where there is no freight. So it would have been sit here and then get there and sit there. Not even Command has anything. Found out today that my DM was out on Friday and he is ticked that I am still sitting with nothing and that even no one bothered to answer my messages on Friday or this weekend.

Shut down at the Joplin 44 Petro. I love this place; I have yet to show up here and not find a parking place.

Did a 34 at the Lancaster terminal yesterday, getting a rather bad vibration fixed. It turns out that when we had one of the steer tires replaced by OnHold, the vendor put on the wrong size tire; just a little bit bigger. That threw the suspension or of whack, causing the vibration, even though there was very little vibration in the steering wheel. A couple of new steer tires, and she's riding like new.

A couple of little things done in the mechanic's shop, and we are rolling.

I took advantage of the $7 hot lunch today. Not bad, and a good bit of food.

Finished a live unload at the Memphis Kroger DC, was told by the guard I had the option to drop. If I had known that I would have been there 16 hours earlier and not had to use two hours on a fresh clock. Sitting at a Pilot down the road for six hours now still with no preplan and nothing on mac30.
