Create a blank bill of lading for it with all the info from your dispatch then submit that with your receipt. If they need a Bol, just make one.

Which is exactly what my DM & a CSR did for the load I was missing one.
-
I called payroll today about the missing BOL.
She said the system thought it was a weight receipt because the weights were printed on it.
Plus it doesn't really look like a BOL, being half a page in size and hand written.
She took care of it.
I'm at the TA in Counsel Bluffs, IA.
I just checked the forecast for tomorrow along my route and it should be fine to get to Denver tomorrow evening.
That will make it a 3,000 mile week.
Then I have to get a b-service, and get yet another check engine light diagnosed and fixed.
This truck is starting to nickel and dime me to death, but I guess it's that time in its life that things start wearing out.
New truck next quarter, and I can't wait.
After I get everything fixed I'll grab a home time with the girls over the weekend, then I'll probably stay out until late January. -
Midkiff, TX... just east of Rankin, TX at a picnic area on US-67. Just thought I'd check in with my friends at Swift.
This morning I delivered a load I picked up yesterday afternoon in OKC. Two large generators on the deck of my flatbed. Easy securement with two chains per generator.
After delivery I drove to the Pilot on exit 126 on I-20 to have breakfast, look at the DAT Board for loads headed back to OKC and possibly take a shower. I also called a couple of our terminals in Midland and Odessa to see if they had anything, hopefully headed back to OKC.
Within minutes I got a call from the Midland terminal manager, saying he had a load headed back to OKC tomorrow, but could I do any local work today.
I ended up doing a 20 mile load that earned me $125 and then got called to pick up generators and clamps to take to a rig in Luck, TX. Overall I made about $400 today on two local hauls and have a pickup tomorrow morning in Midland headed back "home" in OKC.
This really is my dream job, but my wife decided she won't move to OKC. Now I'm looking at opportunities back in Southern California, in heavy haul, tanker, or car hauling. Anything with percentage pay with high tariffs.inkeper and Moosetek13 Thank this. -
Denver.
Got my load delivered and headed to the shop for a b-service and a check engine light.
I was told it would be tomorrow morning before they could get to me, which I expected. After all, it was nearly 1700 when I got here.
So I start some laundry and dinner and settled in.
An hour and a half later I get a knock, and a mechanic saying he is ready for me.
What?!
Well, I'm not. I had a long day, just got dinner going and have laundry in. How about putting some one else ahead of me?
Sure, no problem. So that worked out.
Hopefully I can get in early tomorrow and be out by 1530 or so.
But I don't want to be all done tonight because that would make me start my home time too early, or have another stupid pplan come in for the morning.
I drove nearly 600 miles today and all I wanted for tonight was some relaxation, not sitting in the drivers lounge and wasting a good dinner in the process.Buckeye91 Thanks this. -
Columbus, taking 34 and getting my PM done while I'm here
-
I got in the shop at 0730 this morning and was finished at about 1400.
Perfect.
I was able to get Leann her Wacom drawing tablet for her birthday, and I'll be able to attend my youngest daughters band concert tonight. It will be the first concert of hers that I've been able to attend, so she is very excited. Me too.inkeper Thanks this. -
Back here in Alabang, Manila after 7 days at a resort in Palawan. Now have to say that tired of Seafood since they are on the water, but will say had some excellent meals while there and was taken care of. After our first night there they upgraded us to a private villa suite at a charge of about $10 extra a night. After our first night there we were given the text number of our tuk tuk driver and he took care of us the whole week. Would take us to the place to eat and wait and take us shopping. Getting back from Palawan was a PITA due to the Apec summit. Luckily our flight was just delayed and not cancelled.
When checked in last night we were welcomed back and told that we qualified for a nice upgrade from the room that I reserved to a deluxe suite. Additional $20 per night. This gave us access to what is called the Executive Signature Room and lounge. At night they have happy hour from 6-8, a full bar of hors d vers(SP) and free drinks. This will take care of for me this additional upgrade charge. The breakfast and dinner buffet would put most to shame in the states. Breakfast buffet here is a total International. Thai, Korean, Filipina and Western and Indian. And much prepared to order.
Today finally got my new dentures and can no believe the cost and how well they fit. They are a synthetic based type and so ##### comfortable. Now about time for happy hour. Everyone have a great time and please, PLEASE BE SAFE -
That's a good one. You almost had me. No way the buffets are as good as TA and Petro.
