QUOTE="Moosetek13, post: 4916814, member: 52051"]I'm planning to get there around 2030 on Thursday.
I'm staying in Anthony, TX tonight at the Loves, then it's a full day of driving tomorrow.
I look forward to meeting you, Frank.[/QUOTE]
Moose , I'm at the hotel tonight but I can meet you at the terminal in the liars' (smokers') area about 0800 Friday .
There's no Thanksgiving at the terminal . If they did it would be turkey bologna on stale bread to match the drivers appreciation week epic fail. I doubt the lunch wagon will be there today . If what the TA serves up for $16 is as bad as its been in years past I'd say its not worth the effort finding a parking space .
The Golden Corral on the service road at exit 3 has a Thanksgiving buffet for $13. If you go past Golden Corral and turn in next door between Danny's Restaurant and Motel 6 there's truck parking behind Danny's .
Laredo terminal will let company drivers bobtail out unlike too many terminals that hold you prisoner .
Frank

First time in 5 years ... Thanksgiving at home.
Stay safe out there enjoy the day the best you can. -
Back in the states here in Goodyear, and darn, the Black Bear is still closed. Their goes holiday dinner. Almost got stuck in LAX for 27 hours. Missed my connecting flight by 10 minutes yesterday due to the new way that Customs works there. You use the Kiosks, which was supposed to make it faster, and then still have to go through the line, and there are lines for foreign passports and US and Canadian Citizens and yesterday they were mixing up everyone. Then United put me in standby and said that if could not get out then would not be able to until today. Luckily got out. Now jet lag is really kicking in.
Supposed to be staring Cabela's dedicated tomorrow but not sure how long it will last due to the offering of the buyout on the first of the year. -

We'll see how that works.
I didn't really look closely at the t-call location and thought it was at the terminal, but it is different place about 8 miles away. It is set up for 0900 Friday, and I'll have to get the trailer inspected before that.
If you are going to be around for a couple hours I should be back to the terminal before 1000. I'm picking up a load there after I drop this one. -

I just sent you a PM I think . If "start a conversation" is a PM .
Future reference : every load to Laredo requires a trailer inspection and the only loads that are conventional tcalls at the terminal are beer loads . -
You don't need to change anything. Just hit Apply, and it reboots.

I'm still in Texas, somewhere, at a J. Well, just north of Austin.
No rush hour traffic, but it was pretty heavy going through Austin.
I've a bit over 1,000 miles to my delivery Monday morning in Indianapolis.
No rush, but it is getting me some good miles this week. I'll have around 2,200 on Monday morning.
It looks like I'll have some heavy rain along the way, but not much worse than that.
I got to meet A21CAV today. That was cool.A21CAV Thanks this. -
I know where that is. About 150 miles due west of where I'm sitting. Been thru there many times the last six months.Moosetek13 Thanks this.

Love's in Cleveland, TX dropping in Baytown tomorrow and snagging one to KC.

If I had been here 'many' times in the last 6 months I think my brain would have fried.
I'm not crazy about Texas, and I'm very happy to be getting out so quickly.
So, MsJamie, what have you been up to lately?
