Moose, it kind of sounds like you have a Howard Ternes load from Monroe, MI. If you do, it's not that hard sliding the pallets to the back. They will actually help or get some straps and tie them to the forklift to pull them out. Most of the time, I just get my shoulder into it and once you get it moving they slide pretty easy. Most of the time. The hardest part of the delivery is getting into the dealership. One time I had to back into the lot off the street with traffic coming from both directions. Yeah, that was fun.

Sitting at my final in Springfield, IL for a 4 am live unload delivery at a Big Lots store. Sucks that it's scheduled so early in the morning, but I'm just glad I don't have to unload it myself. Had enough of that doing Dollar Tree. No thanks. Good night all.

It is going to Allsteel Progress Park.
The description is 'Wood Cases of Tempered Glass'. -
I see. That wouldn't be Howard Ternes then. That is Ford auto parts delivered to dealerships. Hopefully your final will have some method to help slide the stuff to the back.
Sitting here in the dock of Big Lots since 4am watching them slide boxes down the roller. You have no idea how much I don't miss that. Lol. All I can say is better them than me. I was just glad the actually had a dock here. At Dollar Tree I would have to angle back to the back door somehow. -
Armadillo, TX. What I thought would be a decent week, at least 2600 miles turned into crap. This Target load has to be delivered within the window, which is after midnight Wednesday or service failure. Have had enough of no miles. This week a little over 1300 and because of the fiasco with Cabelas, about 800 for almost 4 days. Yes, I know, it is a start to the new week, but I am not a optimist. Have seen too many of these where all of a sudden for the rest of the week crap loads that might end up with a total of 3k

Actually, I didn't even have to get out of the truck. No driver assist at all.
Yesterday I had fun dropping my mt trailer at a warehouse, then going 170 miles to get an mt from a Walmart in NE IA.
Now I'm in Winona, MN picking up a load going down to GA. -

Sitting in Mechanicsburg, PA near the pickup point for our next run to Dallas, waiting for the preplan.
We went and talked to the onsite manager for the Target account yesterday. A week ago, he was all excited at the prospect of two drivers with experience on the account, and knew we'd be there in a week. Yesterday, there were NO surge slots available.
We talked to a new surge driver in the parking lot. He was recruited the day before because he was an OTR driver "in the area". Oh, the drama... -
Ms. Jamie, I know that feeling after what happened to me regarding going dedicated Cabela's. Told one day that yes, on the account and then the next morning get told no after losing miles getting to SLC.
Now at a nice little T/S about 60 miles north of PHX. Mac 30 is coming up nothing but Quaker Oats loads going to Vegas. That is not happening. My DM tell me this morning that working on a stack for the weekend. Not a word and like I have not been told that before. -
Sounds like Swift has a credibility problem ( what trucking com. doesn't?)
