Anyway, I have a very light load (just over 8k) and I'm headed to Topeka, KS.

It was nice getting a load out of Texas as soon as I arrived. And the weather looks good between here and there.

 

Here at transmex in Nogales. Pu heavy load bound for cedar Rapids for the 3rd. Best long one can get out of here. I am so tired of every time I get south I get yanked right back out going north, and always the same excuse, nothing down here running on I 10. Now going to hope for something that can still get some miles by next Wednesday

 

Well my next load is 51 mt and 15 loaded. Woopie!
It's a t-call out of Edwardsville going around the corner to KC, MO.
Hopefully after taking this shortie they will send me something good.

On the bright side, I didn't have to worry about an mt at my last drop or finding a place to spend the night.
I had just enough left on my 11 to make it here.

Still at home. Had planned to leave yesterday but after getting sick I blew out my PTA twice. Gonna stick around today making sure I'm really OK then try to leave on Sat. Figured no use trying to go anywhere on New Years Day.

 

Los Cruces, NM. Asked the DM today if he is going to be able to get me out of Cedar Rapids on Sunday and back South and he replied to me, working on it now. Will be working on Saturday so if not today then on Saturday. I swear that they must really think that we are dumb. If there is nothing on the board today and this is a holiday weekend, then there will not be anything come Saturday and will just wait until Monday. I would rather be told the truth and then can deal with it, not lied to. Weekend is ECT and we all know how they are, and I am pretty sure that Cedar Rapids on the weekend is Memphis

 

Springfield, MO.

I had a pick up at one place, who had moved the loaded trailer to another place earlier this afternoon because they were closing early tonight.
I go to the other place and find that there is no one there to give me the BOL, and it isn't with the trailer.
I spent the next hour trying to call ECT and look other places for the BOL, but my 14 was running out.
Finally someone in ECT called CSR who said they would fax me the BOL. I headed for the TA for the night, and the fax, and I'll go back in the morning for the trailer.

This load is going to Family Dollar in IA, but there is no confirmed delivery time yet. It should be sometime on the 2nd.

 

Make sure you get paid for an extra stop.
