Las Cruses, NM at the TA.

Shutting down for a 34, which I have plenty of time for on this very tight load.
Then I'll swing by the Tucson shop on Saturday to see if they have time for a quick b-service.

blsqueak, last week I got a message from CSR to please start rolling.
That was 1.5 hours after I started driving that morning.
I guess they can't see or think straight that early in the morning.

The terminal in Tucson is a DSW terminal. I pulled in there with a blown tire and on-road had to get in the middle in order to get a tire replaced.

    Just saying.

Does that mean they can do the b-service, or not?
    ?
If not I will have to get either a load or deadhead to Jarupa to get it done, because just after I get to CA I will be on hold until it is done.

I've been there maybe once or twice in the last 5 years, but I do not remember the place.

I don't think Tucson will service a non-DSW truck. Swift is too cheap to "pay" them to do which is what they would have to do.

    I could be wrong.

    Moosetek13 Thanks this.

Should not be really hard out if there. Maybe a beer loaded or home depot in your future

Blsqueak, why didn't you try transferring to Laredo?

Gatlinburg, TN for the weekend. Meeting the family down here for a bit of a mini-vacation. Renting a cabin and gonna enjoy the weekend. Pigeon Forge is having a major car show/cruise event this weekend which is a huge plus for me, being the motor head that I am. The drive thru town this morning seeing all of the awesome custom cars parked in all the lots was just fantastic. Wish I could have stopped for a better look. Maybe later.

Columbus terminal. This place is so choked with auction trailers that there's no room for us to park.

But then, I deliver in Pittsburgh, 3.5 hours away, at 7 AM Monday morning.

Picked up a new student in Memphis this morning. Another ex-PAM driver. So far, he's doing well. He made the drive up here.

The planners won't let us T-call the load here, because there's nothing in the area to put us on. OK; we'll burn a third of a tank of fuel this weekend driving around in circles around Pittsburgh. The sooner we can get through this first 50 hours, the happier I'll be. U understand the need to have the mentor up front, but why do I have to burn my clock in the process?
