Burnsville, MN on my last day of a very nice and relaxing home time.
I love to wake up when I wake up, instead of to an alarm.
Got some good shows downloaded to last me awhile, while on the road.
Some good left overs for the cooler.
Hopefully I have a decent load out tomorrow.
The weather has been in the 50's and 60's, with one day actually in the 70's. And nothing but a bit of rain forecast for several days.
Superb MN weather!
Sorry for your troubles, squeak.
But today, I don't have any.
Good Night From II

It is okay Moose. They did send me a pplan, pu in the yard here and take to San Antonio for a morning live unload. All of 190 miles by 0900. Said that want to see a back up since I know what it can be like getting another load out of there on a Friday morning.
Update, it has been over 2.5 hours since I declined the load saying that I want to see a back up, and nothing, not even a removal. Moose, the next 2 weeks for me there might be a PITA. My DM has been called for jury duty.Last edited: Apr 10, 2014
Moosetek13 Thanks this. -
Squeak,
Should have taken the Wal-Mart DC to DC load. Last time I did that very same load I got a load out of Port Allen going to CA. Lots of freight near Baton Rouge. -
My hindsight is always 20/20. My luck, would have got there and then nothing or a P&G (or is it KCarke)

for space I loved the prostar, hated the heavy clutch though. As for the velcro curtain I never undo the velcro, I just slide the 2 curtains velcroed together to the side and then pull it back when I want it closed.
Last night was the first load I ever had to bring back to the dc to get reworked, was 42k lbs so I scaled it, tandems and everything moved as much as can be plus a couple brake checks and I was still at 35980 on the tandems, was told I was one of 5 loads that came back to get fixed, took them almost 2 hours plus the hour lost from 25 miles to and from the scales I used. Was told one load left the dc at 50k lbs which is insane, they normally are supposed to cut them before getting much past 40k so I dont know what the heck those loaders were smoking on some of these loads last night. Found out yesterday the dc is looking for a new full time ECT planner since one decided to leave, I went ahead and just applied for it but will see if anything comes of it. I know the normal work week is 4 10's plus overtime sometimes, also one planner used to be a driver and when busy he will drive a day or 2 on his days off for extra money so that can be an option for me if I get the opportunity. At least I have experience with how this dc operates etc so maybe might help some. -
I get woken up at 0700 with a pplan that picks up at 0900, and my PTA is 1200.
I called to check on windows, but no windows. So I ignore it since I am nowhere near my truck.
It was sent again at 0915, and I call my DM. He's wondering why they keep sending too, and tells me to ignore it.
Stupid planners. -
YA THINK!!!

Ditto ... took that load and went to Monroe and picked up a load of ducks to CA.

glad that I waited. Got one from baytown to t-call in phx and then one going to El Paso. At first was t-call in El Paso and then changed. Would have put me there when shop is closed and 4 days earlier than requested
