And the directions in Macc 23 and GPS still has us going the old way. Also what is confusing for a new driver that is making a delivery, the directions say that not use 92 or get terminated. The problem, to get to the receiving gate, you have to turn left and hard right on 92. They do not say that they do not want you taking 92 from Dandridge to the plant

Petro in Laramie, WY.
My PTA was 0700 and the first pplan didn't come until ~1000, then promptly removed.
That was OK since I didn't want to deliver at Sam's in Casper at 2100 tonight.
A couple hours later something better came my way.
A t-called load at Swift going to Portland, OR for a Tuesday morning delivery.
At the window I heard that there is nothing going east right now.
I am a bit confused by the fuel route and directions as opposed to both the RM and QC GPS.
The GPS has my destination just a couple miles from the TA at Troutdale, exit 14 off I-84.
The fuel route and directions both have me going onto I-205, which is much further.
I'll call the customer on Monday to find out. -
Kwik Trip, Mauston, WI. Had enough hours to get to delivery tonight but just all of a sudden started to feel tired. What is the rush. I have until the 21st at 1700 to get from here 120 miles to Augusta and then 1150 miles to Plainview, TX. What is going to suck is my planner on vacation starting Tuesday and Decatur is going to handle it. Hope that she has me planned for the week but I doubt it because I will only have 18 hours left on my 70 and she will not plan that much when you getting down in hours because she really does not understand recaps and after delivery will not start to pick up hours until Thursday, but maybe Decatur can see recap and let me run. Would hate to take another 34 so soon

Getting planned that far in advance may seem nice, but all it takes is one or two little things to slow you down to mess it all up.

Any time I go to a new shipper/receiver first I try Google Maps then if I need to I'll Google it. I want to see the satellite view of the property. Saved me A LOT of grief over the years. Also managed to find several mistakes and/or outdated addresses.Ryan423 and Moosetek13 Thank this.

Agreed! When I was OTR with Swift I had the absolute worst luck with stacked loads.
-
The trouble with Swift stacking loads is that they are based on Plus-1 times too often.
They expect pinpoint accuracy with no leeway for anything. And that seldom happens. -
I had successfully forgotten about the horrors of Plus 1.scottied67 Thanks this.

Edwardsville, lucky me.

You have to remember that 95% of what I do is all drop and hook and have plenty of time to get them delivered.
Eagleville, MO. With the 2 lanes getting from Augusta to Windom and then the nice up and down the hills and the 10mph winds gusting up to 23 coming out of the ssw, made for some crap mpg
