I received service failures for not sending a mac 22 when I was going to be later than expected, even if it was within the customer window.
    I don't chance it anymore.

I'm in Sumner, WA at the truck stop.

I got a pplan earlier that gave too little time to get to the pickup because the system thought it was 17 miles when it was actually 68.
17 as the crow flies, perhaps, but getting from Bremerton to Seattle requires going south to Tacoma and then north to Seattle.
So I adjusted the time and it was taken off me.
A bit later the planner said he was getting with CSR to see if I could pick it up at 1500, but by the time he got back to me it was too late for that time. So I said 1530.
He messaged back that that was OK and sent a new pplan with that pick up time.
When I got to the shipper I'm told that they do not load after 1400 (the original time window on the first pplan), so I would have to come back tomorrow.

How does one get a service failure if the load is delivered on time?

That's right, we're talking about Swift where the CSRs and planners have too much power and no accountability.

Rugerfan, Subutai and Moosetek13 Thank this.

Litchfield, IL. Drop in the morning and pick up a lite Costco load for Eden Prairie. Talked to my DM today and found out why pplans have all been messed. Before my planner went on vacation it was all arranged that a certain planner would take over the account. Well, he then went in put in for time off and no one to cover. When my DM would talk to the planners, they would just say, Oh No, we are only responsible for the SE so no one was watching us. Then to add insult to injury, there are loads sitting in Augusta but they are not in the system because there is no one to put them. All of us out of IGH on this account has been royally screwed this week. So now I am dropping Sunday and no pplan possibly until planner returns on Monday, and I have a feeling, she is NOT going to be a happy camper.

fr8monkey, no problem. Thought maybe I ticked you off

    fr8monkey Thanks this.

You thinking about a trip over soon. I already have reservations for end of October. Not sure who, but at a price of less than $600 r/t from JFK, I took them. I looked for Xmas, and they were more than double

    fr8monkey Thanks this.

What I did not understand is that you said that you were already sitting at Lowes, but then like Steve said, with CSR, who know. I remember many years ago I was at a customer 5 minutes early and went inside. Forgot to send my arrival call until 5 minutes past the appointment time, and even though sitting there, received a svc failure which was removed. In fact, that has happened to me twice. Luckily GPS and tracking showed that I was there and what time

I was on a 10, which didn't start until after midnight. I could not go on-duty until well after my 0800 (Plus-1) delivery time.
