My taxes are done and thanks to the wife and being a independent contractor, I have to pay. CPA already filed an extension. She was going to file separate until she found out that she would owe about $1500, then changed her mind and said, "Husband, we file together". Typical Chinese women. Not letting $$ come out of her pocket.

sitting on the side of Target in Riverbank Modesto, I guess I will be starting my days off late, planner gave me riverbank again tomorrow and I also volunteered to pickup a backhaul at the Purina in Modesto heading back, I wasnt going to give up the good load and miles and wont have the hours to make it all the way back but maybe I can get as far as Tulare and then take a 10 and get back to the dc then head home. My family is usually asleep anyway when I get home after my last runs on Monday nights, im thinking about running 6 days again soon and bank up some extra cash but havent decided yet, I do like the 2 days off a week but im greedy lol.

Pretty sure an extension only allows extra time to file complete tax forms. When you owe money it is still due by deadline or you pay penalties.they still want their money Now.

Got a chance to relax for a few hours and do some laundry and shower and clean the inside of the truck. Basically spring cleaning I guess. Been runnin hard and at 2030 tonight we will be back to the grindstone with a run out to NY and back.
Had some fun in Chicago today, the city certainly lived up to its title of the "windy city" with gusts up to 45 mph. All of my deliveries were to city stores so I had to back into parking garages and alleys and such. Thankfully my deliveries to Chicago are always in the wee hours of the morning so I never have traffic to fight, but it's still not the best city to be driving a rig in. -
lathrop ca terminal. no appt time yet when i called at fuel stop in dunnigan ca. so drove down here to get closer. went inside and talked to dispatch and they messaged csr again and still nothing. she said i could switch out but told her i had no scale tix since i was delivering it. so told her i wait abit to see if something comes up. ate breakfast and walked to truck and finally got appt time. its for 1730 today. my 14 will be up at 1930. saw theres an arco with limited truck parking at exit i'm getting off at. gonna drive down in a few and see how small it is. have 150 miles to go, so i dont want to get there tooo soon.

got a preplan while waiting and was to pick up at frito lay in bakersfeild tomorrow morning at 0700 and going to denver co 04/18 for 1020 ld and 75 mt. but in the message said i had to go southern route to avoid the high mtns. called my old dl and said it was more miles than it said. he said they would reroute me that way when i got the dispatch. told him i only had 17 hrs for the next 2 days, 2.5, then couple of 10. so sent a mac 9 with the rite times i could with those reasons. got taken off me. then about hour later, one my dl helpers called and said there was 4 days to get there. explained to her again and she said oh ok lol. beginning to think that they dont look at the messages or reason you send in.
