So we can park at the Montebello yard again? I thought for a while they weren’t allowing overnight parking.

This is the 3rd time since I started in Aug 16. Had a forklift guy come over and asked how long I was gonna be there. All were on weekends and yesterday I did a 34 reset.
I always park all the way in the rear so I am out of the way

I hate staying in dirt lots, much as I hate days like today.

Driving at 0400 to make a 0700 delivery, which was already 2 hours late. But some of those Costco loads are insane with the times. Let's see... pick up at 1500 today and deliver 220 miles away at 0500 tomorrow while a 10 is needed in between.

My break was only 10 hours 13 minutes, so there is no way I could have made an on time delivery.
But in response to my mac 9, the planner did say that 0700 was good.
Then I hit stopped traffic near the destination in Pittsburg, PA. I later heard it was an accident involving a semi and 3 cars. I got there at 0755.

I did a mac 22 for my next load, saying I would pick it up an hour late at 1100 - and then more problems.
My RM GPS didn't know the address, my QC GPS wasn't updating to my new dispatch and there were no Swift directions.
I called the customer and followed their directions, only to find out that I was at the wrong place. It was another facility, and I was given directions to the right one.
Incomplete (wrong) directions, so I went the wrong way getting off the turnpike.
I wasn't even given the correct phone number for the correct shipper in my load assignment!
My 1000 pick up turned out to be 1300 actual.

On the plus side, both customers had no problems with the times. I was in and out quickly with both. And there is enough delivery window so I won't be late with my current load.

I do wish this Pilot had a laundry room, though. I really need it.

And now I seem to be stuck along the eastern region.
Got off home time after transferring to IGH and head east for a change. But now I seem to be held by the same planners and bouncing back and forth in the eastern time zone.

Am I going to have to start taking home time every 2 weeks just to see some central zone stuff?

Why the extra 13 minutes on a load that needs a hard 10?

Was gonna put truck in shop bere but it would take 2 days minimum he said and didn't know if there were trucks to exchange. Really need to get out of this truck. Seems to have issues every week. Shop said it be better if I got to jurupa terminal. Called the dl and he said it would be but they guy in charge of giving out trucks wants to see truck in shop first.
Told him I rather get into truck first and put this one in shop so I dont waste time sitting around. He said that guy doesn't work that way.
So headed that way to see how it goes. Can't give details on this load until afterwords
