Won’t idle between 32 and 68 degrees unless you find the temp sensor and fool it. On my T680 the sensor is under the driver side mirror. Put something hot on the sensor and wait until your dash display reads over 68 and it will continue to idle even if the temp drops below 68.

Also, Swift will reimburse for paid parking. Call your DM and ask for a PO and scan it in with your paperwork. I don’t do it very often but I will when I’m headed somewhere like Nashville.

Have to do an 8/2 split and it will be my 1st since I been driving.
Made the delivery this morning in Louisville ky and picked this load up 2 miles away. Appt was at 1600 and I arrived at approx. 1400 hoping to get loaded early. Nope.
    Didn't start till arou d 5pm.
Have only 59 minutes to work with in the morning. That's what's left of my 14 when I went into sleeper.
Gonna have to go line 5 to get back here to the loves.

Been having issues with Qualcomm ever since I got this truck on Friday. It would just turn off and won't come back on for 15 to 20 minutes. Lose connection and/or signal. Have to do paperlogs yesterday and today. See how tomorrow goes.
Called the Qualcomm guy in Phoenix and he said to take it to a shop and have them check the cables. Might have to.put in a new black box.
Had to do the old school way since it stopped working when I left loiusville and ,of course, it started working when I shut down here lol

So T-Mobile started sending me a advert for a new phone whenever I signed in.
When I finally got to my usual page I could not see what I normally saw, which is my chosen lines to monitor - my phone and the 4 data lines for my internet.

I called support and went round and round with them. I was told that there was an update yesterday that changed how things worked, and it could not be reversed.
I would have to go to another page to see all of our lines (11 of them) and then scroll through and select each one in turn to see my data usage, when before I had everything (and only what I wanted) on my main page at a glance.

Needless to say I got a bit upset, but I was continually told that the new way was 'better' for me and that is how it is now.
This went on for nearly 45 minutes.
Until I told him that I could probably find a similar plan for so many lines with Verizon, because T-Mobile was just making things harder for me for no good reason. And besides, Verizon has better coverage in many places and I am a truck driver.
Then I demanded to speak with his supervisor.
(We have been with T-Mobile for 12 years...)

In less than 3 minutes I had my old style page back, with only my selected lines, just as it was before.

Baytown tx at a gas station that has truck parking. Pretty nice place.
Spent the nite last nite at the Lancaster terminal. Needed a mattress and some extra parts for the truck. Delivered the Campbell soup load in Houston and drove here for my pickup that's going to searcy ar.
Anytime b4 1730 is my delivery window and it's 496 miles from here.
Looks like I am taking mostly state highways till I get on I 20. So I decided to stop here and do it all tomorrow.
Weather been nice the last few days.

    Rugerfan Thanks this.

In and out of Atlanta in one day, thankfully.

But I had a t-called load that picked up at the terminal.
After going round and round a few times looking for the trailer I finally found it - parked along a fence and 2 deep because another driver decided to park next to it. The driver was nowhere to be found, and very little room in front to get out.
I finally managed it, and didn't even take off the front end of that stupid drivers truck in the process.

I hate that place. And my trailer wasn't even the worst case. Everything was 2 deep, and most of the trailers could not be gotten to without moving several others to non-existent locations.

A bit south of Atlanta at a Love's.

I was asked to do a favor by a planner in Denver. A fairly short load of empty cans delivering in GA, which was that t-called load.
The message said that I would be paid hourly, with some miles thrown in. It was about 170 loaded miles.
After I shut down I got a message saying that I was being paid an extra $50, a second message thanking me for the favor.
I would have accepted the load in any case, but the extra money was very nice. I'm not sure what made that load so special.

He has sent me another pplan shortly after I accepted it that will get me up to OH on Wednesday.
A bit too much time on the load - 600 miles over 2 days and delivering at 1800. But I was getting a bit short on my recap hours so it is probably a good thing.

So I had a live unload and then a live load today. Total time at receiver/shipper was just over 1.5 hours combined.
    Not bad at all.

I considered taking a 34 hour reset here as I had just enough time to do it, but that would have meant going through Atlanta Wednesday morning at 0700. So I'll just do it without resetting.
