Called on road about holes I found and they sent me to a loves 10 miles away
Get there and loves says they don't do those repairs.
So called on road back and they sent me to Greer terminal to get it fixed there.
Shop said to just drop it. So walked into dispatch and let them know. He said he take trailer off me.
Sent a Mac 30 and it sent me a load that delivered In Maryland. Ignored that one.
Then sat half the day, so went to the waffle house for dinner.
On the way back they sent me this load that picks up in beech island sc tomorrow at noon and goes to Chester pa on 12/4 before 1345.
Drove here so I can get closer to shipper which is 19 miles now.

 

Still sitting @ the TA in Terrell, TX. I drop in the morning in Farmers Branch then my next load isn't until Tuesday evening @ P&G southeast of Dallas on I-45. Not crazy about sitting an extra day but it delivers @ the Walmart DC in Buckeye, AZ which is 15 miles from home.

 

They sent me a load yesterday (in PA) that didn't pick up until 1700 today.

But, it was preloaded and the trailer number was included.
I went there hoping it was ready, and it was. I got to pick it up more than a day early. I got there before the other driver got there to pick up that days load.

I shut down tonight just inside Indiana on my way to KS, even before my scheduled pick up time.

 

Casper, WY at the Hat Six Travel Plaza. Very nice place with a Moe's Southwestern and Schlotzky's inside. Tons of parking.

Got a load from Colony, WY all the way to Schertz, TX. After picking up I get off the interstate in Sturgis, SD and don't get back on an interstate until picking up 27 south from Amarillo. A very good load, I think.

Got jealous of @Moosetek13 picking his load early.
So called shipper this morni.g and asked if preloaded trailer was ready. My appt. Time in Pre Plan said 1300. She said yes. So got there around 0830. Cool.
The flying j was packed. Lady can over as I was coming up to her truck and said she is moving her truck over. Said she had taken 2 spots. Then guy next to her moved so had plenty of room To park.
Came off the offramp and sign said flying j to left. But when I got up to the light I saw it to the right across the street. So I made a right turn that was for cars only and got myself in a pickle.
No left into flying j so I went to the light and no upturn. So I drove into the Sunoco driveway and was no way out. Was the line for their shop. So I backed up a little and drove thru some place parking lot. Finally made it here without hitting anything or anyone lol.
Found out there are 2 flying j.
Oh well... I am parked and have about 215 miles to final in Chester pa
Edit... Btw I think it's speedway not Sunoco.
They do oil changes and such for trucks

 

The Hat Six is tons better than the J.

 

I was sent a pplan yesterday going to IA, I turned it down because of my home time request.
Not 10 minutes later I had a load home. 300 mt picking up in AR and 725 loaded to Minneapolis delivering on the 6th at 0800.
My request was for the 5th, and my DM called a few minutes later to ask if I really wanted it since it gets me there a day late.
I love this DM.
I told her it was not a problem.

When I got to the pickup it turned out to be a live load, when the load assignment said it was pre-loaded.
That place has no room to store trailers.
And it was a good thing I left and delivered an hour earlier this morning. If I had left at my originally planned time I would have gotten there after they closed. They close at 1500, yet the pplan said I had until 1530 to pick it up.
Someone is really not communicating very well.

Was a nerve wracking day today.
Dealt with Lot of traffic this not morni.g on way to Chester pa for my final. Then got a load that picked up in Bergen nj and goes to Mira Loma ca by Sunday.
Because it's heading west I accepted it quickly since I knew it wouldn't last long.
Made a wrong turn about 12 miles from shipper and got into Mess getting back on the right road. tight roads.
But finally got there and took me 2 hrs 5min to drive the 65 miles here.
Forecasting so.e ice storm in the south Midwest thks Friday. So I hope I squeeze thru
They are fueling me Here, troy il, hooked ok, and Mira Loma.
Truck is due for its 50 thousand service by time I get this load delivered.
