At home....again. I did a quick TJ Maxx DC to DC load (Phoenix to Mira Loma) then picked up from Burlington in Redlands (50% more trailers than they have room for) back to PHX. It was supposed to drop tomorrow until I got a message rescheduling it for Tuesday the 8th. At least I'm home.

Denver terminal. It's packed here as always. There were three actual open spots to park or drop a trailer when I got here this morning, and probably 8 trucks still parked in the aisles at 10:30am.

Uggh...don't miss that terminal. They typically sent me there for drug testing, otherwise I refused to be there for any occasion ...spend an hour looking for a legit place to park. That place is a disgrace.

Don't need to spend an hour, just 12 bucks or so to reserve a spot at the TA.

Had to t-call a trailer in Denver once. After one trip around the lot (and no spots) I dropped it in front of the shop.
That said the place has gotten better. No longer full of red-tagged trailers.

Sent a Mac 30 and got a load that picks up in pomona at 0830 tomorrow.
Has to stops. One in Olympia wa and the other in n shoreline wa. both on friday.
So drove to antelope valley to get my medication refilled.
    Hopefully weather cooperates.

Hey guys, I had a few questions about Swift...Do they train in a manual ?
Also, do they have driver facing cams ?
And, what's the starting pay cpm after their school ?

    thanks, BT

At present the academy trucks are manuals but nearly 90% of all OTR (mentor) trucks are autos.
    No driver facing cams.
Someone else is gonna have to chime in for pay. I know that students are paid an hourly wage while on their mentor's truck but have no idea how much. Same for mileage pay after going solo.

    BlueThunderr Thanks this.
