I always set up at the Loves or Pilot at Ft Pierce … then run in and get out. Push come to shove if the Pilot/Loves are full, there's an independent behind the Waffle House … they charge $5 and it's a bit of dump, but there's always parking there.

Thanks for the information. Problem is I'm headed for Doral which is 3 hours from Ft. Pierce.

Sumner terminal wa.
Delivered those 2 lumber liquidators stops today. 1st one in Olympia wa and last in shoreline wa.
Next load picks up tomorrow at 1300 in Kent wa. Going to billings mt for a 8am delivery on the 14th. -
Monroe, MI at the TA.
Mac 30 had 1 load going down to Memphis, TN and I took it. At least it isn't FL or the Carolina's.
It delivers Monday by 1100, but with the weather between here and there I'm not so sure.
And I want to get a new computer, but it has been difficult trying to find somewhere that has what I want that I can get to in a truck. There is a Micro Center in Sharonville, OH that has what I want, but I have to call them to see if I can get a big truck in there. It seems to be right at an off ramp, so maybe I can park on the side of the road for half an hour. We'll see.
That bonus pay is burning a hole in my pocket. -
Calexico at a truck stop right next to the truck border crossing. I was sent to a different dropyard than normal - 363 Nina Lee Rd. It's stupidly tight, and most of the spots that are left are actually impossible to back in to. According to another driver the transmex yard on Robinson Blvd has been closed. Not sure.
No preplans. Jurupa Valley is supposedly 100+ trucks short. Short on hours so I don't really mind one way or the other. -
I got to the Micro Center in Sharonville, OH this morning just as they opened.
It's a good thing I got there early or I would never have been able to park my truck there. I would have been lucky just to find my way out again.
As it was there was about 4 inches of snow on the ground and I had a heck of a time just getting the truck to start moving again.
But a nice Asus ROG Strix Scar Edition 17" is now mine. -
Got a message yesterday they had closed the Gary terminal due to weather.
No trucks allowed to leave.
Not sure if they opened yet -
Laurel mo Dana at the t/a for fuel,do net, and my 10 hr break
About 10 miles from final. Have an 8 am appt live unload tomorrow.
Weather was pretty nice if not freezing lol. Got down to 15 degrees. Got here and it's 37 -
It should be. The storm ended this morning in OH, which is further east than Gary. It was moving east.dptrucker Thanks this.

At the Red Roof Inn near the Atlanta (Decauter) terminal. Dropped my t-call there with 37 mins left on my 70 and nothing back til Wednesday. Can you say RESET?
I was debating whether to stay at the terminal in my truck when I noticed the "no hot water" signs. Googled "Swift Red Roof discount code" and managed to save $15 a night.
Florida worked...to a point. Get a pre-plan for a Walmart pallet load from Ft. Pierce to Arabi, GA after I dropped on Sunday. Problem was Walmart didn't have any pallet loads leaving Sunday so I grabbed my empty and left. Then they planned me on a paper load from Fernandina Beach (ne of Jacksonville) to somewhere in MN with a t-call in Gary. I countered with "resend it to me with a t-call in Atlanta" which they did. Good thing I called my DM this morning, they had totally screwed the pooch on the miles from Doral to Ft. Pierce.
Hopefully won't have any problems getting a west-bound load out of here Wednesday.
