Your not g on a get an empty trailer out of jv terminal unless you drop an empty trailer there.
Really doesn't make sense.
If you tcall a load there you should get one. Still dropping a trailer.
The last load that I did for walmart.. I went to 3 different places b4 getting one.

Stoppedi here for the nite last nite.
Went in to see if I can deliver early. Have a 1130 appt.
They said I am the 2nd truck. Trailer at door is still full. She said it takes them awhile with 2 trucks lol.
Picked this load up in Lebanon or. Nice drive here. Sent me straight over hwy 20 .
Next load I am picking up in Nampa id and going to slc ut

Took Lowes till 1600 to unload the 1st trailer
Car said next shipper will wait till 1730 for me. Got here at 1725. Guy says no problem. Not going fat today. Drive to slc ut tomorrow. Only about 350 miles.
Pretty sad it takes 10 hrs to unload a handstack load.

Assuming you could find an MT @ JV what's to stop you from calling your home terminal and having it attached to your truck? I do this at EVERY terminal other than Phoenix.

 

there is a yard dog stationned where empties are stored now. You have to show him paper for him to let you have it.
Drivers do drop empties in the yard but you have to walk and find them
