Made that Portland delivery yesterday morning. Glad I put a strap on the load. The load bar didn't work. Ended up calling off. Thought I tightened the strap enough to hold bar in place. One pallet ended up leaning over and falling down when I took strap off. Me and forklift driver restocked it.
Then picked up at Albertsons and delivered it to Georgia Pacific in toledo grabbed a load out of there going to here in Fresno.
Planners sent a message with the preplan saying they know I am late. Had a 1200 appt today
Then it Was changed to 1300.
Called dm on the way here yesterday and said that's not even possible
Maybe 1500 to 1400.
Dropped at pilot in center point or last nite since it was my fuel stop.
Ended up getting at final at 1330 and they said I have a Monday appt..
Called my dm couple times today and yesterday making sure load was good for today. The final closes at 1600 and closed all weekend. Lucky me that took me.
My dm left by time I called and the other dm said there was a change of appt message sent to me yesterday for Monday delivery. I never saw it. Think I deleted it with other load info.
But my dm should have. He will get an earful Monday lol.
Parked now at a resteraunt that has a few truck parking spots. Having dinner which is pretty good so far
Parked here b4 but they were closed for some reason

You are sent a message, and it seems you deleted it without reading it.
And now you are blaming your DM for your... stupi uh, shortsightedness?
You should give an earful to yourself, not your DM.

First of all, why would you delete anything on the QC? What is the point?
You never know when you may want or need to go back and find something.

And contrary to what some people think, the number of files in a folder has little to do with the speed of the computer. It only stores around 350 messages, then it deletes the oldest to make room for the newest. There is no way you can run out of room.

 

I delete cause it's less clutter. What's the use of saving them if it's gonna delete anyways?
I write everything on paper so no need to go back.
Like I said never saw the message. If it was I probably mistaken it for the past load Info.
Least I got it delivered. How many of you got a load delivered 3 days early lol

 

Woke up to a load that picks up in shafter ca going to woodland ca..
Have unroll 1400 to pick up and deliver anytime b4 2359 tomorrow

Picked this trailer up and has a flat tire. Doesn't look blown but off the rim anyways.
Called on road and she ask if I wanted to drive to the loves.
Said not with a loaded trailer and tire is on the inside.

 

I never roll if it is off the rim.

 

I just wanted to get out of shipper so tiire guy didn't have to deal with them.
Parked next to target.
Tire looks good. Haven't seen any nails or bolts. Will know when it comes off

After 2 hrs waiting with no calls.. called on road back and she said the first person didn t send in the requrst. Now another 60 to 90 minutes wait time. Loves in lost hills only 25 miles away lol..
Parked u get a tree for so.e shade for truck and tire guy.
Tree had ants. Found a whole trail of them on outside of truck. Looks like red ants. But smaller.
Only had air freshener so use that to kill most of them
Killing the few that got inside.
Do not have any food in the truck. But have coffee and sugar

 

Tjink i am gonna go to lathrop terminal for the nite and deliver it tomorrow. Have to do laundry anyways.
But it's mothers day so not sure how loads will be.
I have next thurs and Friday off for doctors visits. Fun lol.
Have about 31 hrs left on 70 so have to choosy on where to go since I need to be in jv terminal by weds. Nite.
